It is with sad news that I report on the passing of longtime FReeper Carolinamom.
Her daughter notified Howlin this morning and told Howlin that her sister found their sweet mother Carolinamom (Miriam) this morning on the bathroom floor.
Her daughter told Howlin the neighbors said she had on the same clothes that she had on when she was working in her yard yesterday.
The medical examiner said Carolinamom may have died from a heart attack or stroke and said she didn't appear to have suffered the affects, and died peacefully.
She touched the lives of many here and elsewhere. She was a sweet and caring soul.
Please keep her closest friends and her immediate family in your thoughts and prayers today and in the days and years to come. Her daughters will certainly need the comforting prayers and loving embrace of our Lord and Savior. They're devastated this morning.
This thread is a beautiful tribute to such a loving woman. Hold her close to Your heart, Precious Lord.
I lost a grandfather in much the same way in 1984. It was a day like any other day and just like that, his heart stopped and he was gone before he even hit the sidewalk.

Deepest condolences to the family and friends of Carolinamom. She is now in peace and in God’s arms. I pray that God will give Carolinamom’s daughter’s strength and courage during this terribly sad time. Having lost my dear Mom not too long ago, I understand the devestation. My heart and my prayers go out to Carolinamom’s daughters.

Thank you for posting this thread and sharing this sad news. Carolinamom was such a dear, lovely lady and I am going to miss her sorely. She had a great sense of humor and was a delight to “know” on the internet.
Prayers lifted for her family and loved ones.
