I feel sorry for the California conservatives who have to live with the losers who put Boxer and Brown back in office. They whine about their state that is in the toilet and yet they put the same losers back in power. Unbelievable.

I've finally got to admit Maryland is pretty futile (other than the Western MD and Eastern Shore Republican Congressional Districts.)

As much as I'm a crusader against false optimism, I actually literally believed that Steele had a chance against Sarbanes (who, at the time, had been so rarely seen in public I wasn't quite certain he was still alive), and I thought up until the polls went south a month ago that Ehrlich would win.

Ehrlich winning the Governorship was an anomaly that likely won't be repeated; Parris Glendening was just so arrogant and univerally hated (including by Democrats) that that was the only reason Ehrlich won.

I don't think there was a better candidate than Ehrlich that could have been found for this election; Ehrlich had won the position before, which nobody else can say.

Lollar would have more chance at governor than winning MD-05. He's probably the best choice to try next time, I suppose. It's a lot harder to get blacks to vote for black Republicans than a lot of people here think, though.

Anything north of Clark County (Las Vegas/Henderson/Laughin) should help Angle... but since it appears Indies are going for her more than Republicans I don’t know what to think. She has to win Clark County by 8% to stand a chance to win (according to the experts).

On a sad note, Jason Altmire is now up by almost two percent!!!

Pa Senate count stuck again at 90.27 in.

Toomey Will Hold On

He just took the lead, and all of the big Democratic counties are reporting between 95 and 100 percent of the vote. Sestak will gain some more votes in Montgomery, but they will be more than offset by GOP votes from Central Pennsylvania, Chester County, and the Lehigh Valley. It will be closer than we all thought, but expect to see Senator Toomey in January.

Yes! Even the dirty Rat machine cannot overcome that kind of lead with a fraudulent recount!

Fiorina was a horrible candidate. If you’re going to have a business person as a candidate at least have one who is successful.

Newt just said the North Carolina legislature just went Republican, its the first time since 1898. He also said this is the first time since 1932 that either party has picked up more than 55 seats. We’re making history here.

t cede Philadelphia to New Jersey and Pittsburgh to Ohio

The latter might be possible, but you'd never sneak Philly past Gov. Christie!
