DNC memo blames Bush for impending midterm loss By Mike Riggs - The Daily Caller 10:31 AM 11/02/2010

The great recasting has begun. What does a Republican victory — a whole slew of them, actually, in states both red and blue — mean for the Democratic Party? In the collective brain pan of the Democratic National Committee , not much.

“Democrats knew that 2010 would be an uphill battle for three reasons,” reads a memo that the DNC sent its allies early this morning. Anticipating a drubbing, the committee’s talking points suggest that there’s nothing out of the ordinary about today’s likely Republican victory:

“The party of the president historically loses seats in midterm elections; Too many people are looking for work or struggling to get by as a result of eight years of irresponsible economic policies (and despite creating more private sector jobs in the last eight months than President Bush did in 8 years); the sheer number of seats we’re defending this year as a result of the successes of 2006 and 2008, including 49 Democratic representatives on the ballot this year whose districts John McCain won in 2008.”

“Series” is part of FReeper lore. It was a honest misspelling for serious, and now usually infers sarcasm.

Thank you, I did not know that.

That certainly comes as no surprise. They’ve been blaming Bush for everything lately.

You would think that they’d learn, especially with the drubbing they’re about to take because they ran on the “blame Bush” ticket in 2010

You’d think these twits would have realized by now that the public is sick and tired of all the Bush-bashing, and has been for some time now.

Clueless imbiciles all.

*despite creating more private sector jobs in the last eight months than President Bush did in 8 years*

Yes, Obama created AT LEAST 500 million jobs the first week he was in office. Bush caused nearly 75 Billion jobs to disappear during his 8 years in office.

Of course, these all all imaginary jobs and the people were paid in Monopoly money.

Who do they think believes this?!?!?!?

HERE IS A DOSE OF REALITY FOR THE ESTEEMED FABRICATOR:
At 9.5%, the unemployment rate is 1.8 percentage points higher today than when the President took office. There are 3.3 million fewer U.S. jobs than there were in January 2009. The U.S. economy has lost jobs in 12 of the 18 months he has been office, including the last two months.
In early August of last year, the President declared that, thanks in part to his policies, the U.S. economy was “pointed in the right direction.” We have lost jobs in six of the 12 months since then, for a net decline of 52,000 jobs. The 9.4% unemployment rate when he made this statement climbed to 10.1% and has since declined to 9.5%, still higher than it was last August.

As it is noted in public records, the economy gained 200,000 jobs a month; the unemployment rate was at 4.5%; the budget deficit below $170 billion, and the Dow was a few thousands points higher, when the Republicans last controlled both Houses of Congress in 2006.

*The DNC truly IS stupid! the Dims OWN this economy, they crashed it with their policies starting in 2006 when they took over congress.

They just don’t get that everyone KNOWS this now. Their blame Bush is so FAIL its now epic.*

They don't realize that we know how to work the Internety-Googler thingy on the World Wide Web.
They think we're rubes who don't know how to work an electronic mail device.
We in the flyover states all still have outhouses and so few of us have electricity that we wouldn't be able to use the Great Googly Moogly Internety that the aides operate for the politicians.

Keep thinking that elite DC bums, this is what is getting you tossed out!

Bush opened himself up to these ridiculous charges by dropping his opposition to the Barney Frank destruction of the banking system in the early 00s.

Bush tried to call attention to what Frank and the other progressives were setting us all up for but then he (Bush) backed off and let it go on unobstructed.

I don’t know why he did that (I’ve read Rove is responsible, but I don’t know) but I suspect that it had something to do with the Iraq war. All his efforts were focused on the war and he just dropped the ball on the “lesser” stuff, like closing the border and saving the banks from demo-plunder.

In a sense (I hate to say it), it IS all Bush’s fault, for letting the democraps (through Rove, and others like Rove) control his agenda.

“Sheesh...They’ll still be blaming Bush in 50 years.”

That’s OK. I’m still blaming FDR.

I'm blaming Woodrow Wilson. The income tax started in 1913.

openly call themselves Socialists now
I’d go it one further and call them communists (I guess I can’t really get a word that is adequately extreme to come to mind). Anyway, you are a better person than I because I can not listen - even for an instant - before wanting to go to anger management classes. Bob Beckel - I almost break my finger trying to change the channel - and that list goes on and on. They think WE are stupid but every idea (political and social) they embrace has NEVER worked - you know what they say about one who tries something over and over looking for a different result. I am glad that you do tune in to get the pulse of what the raving leftists are up to.

I agree.

We have Obamacare because of a blame Bush reaction for many of us.

It wasn't because Bush was distracted by the war. It was because he consciously desired some kind of united North America.

What a mistake. There was no public outcry for this. He must have felt that this (united North America) would be part of his legacy.

Establishing a war on terror is enough of a legacy.

*Because this strategy is working so well for them, not! Even folks in MA boo their congresscritter for blaming Bush!
Blame Bush thingy no worky anymore, DNC.*

Awww....kind of a shame. All that metal wasted on 10’s of millions of “BLAME BUSH” pins for 0bama’s 2012 campaign.

Not only does no one believe it, 0bama will probably be impeached by then—that is if the new people elected today have the guts to go after him on one of the dozens of impeachable offenses that he’s committed.

Just allowing the foreign invader drug “lords” to occupy US soil for 4 months in one of our parks is something no president should allow and should be enough to impeach him IMHO.
