It seems everyone has forgot the plane that crashed shortly after 9/11. That one seemed odd to me.

What's scary is that an average jetliner's contrail has been sold as a missile launch by crappy "journalists." And what's sad is that the morons here up in arms will never admit it.

They're probably the same ones that call contrails "Chem Trails" anyways...

If the Sheeple found out their TSA BS was useless and there are people out there that can drop an aircraft with a fairly cheap missile no one one would fly.

For years the muzzies have been smuggling MANPADS in to the US. They are stashed all over the country just waiting to be used one day. The kill zone is 40 miles around any airport. All they have to do is drive up in any old car, put the weapon together if they have not already then find a target, get tone and pull the trigger. After that they can drive away, never to be caught.

We should make it very clear that in the event that anything along these lines happens we nuke mecca and medina. I suspect that Bush already had communicated that to the Saudis. Obama, on the other hand is such a pu$$y gay little wimp I suspect that the Saudis (our real enemy) know Obama will do nothing if dozens of planes fall from the sky. I'm sure that the Saudis know that Obama is a moslem and that may have worked in our favor but at the end of the day he really gives us not cover. He will become less and less effective. Especailly now that the country has woken up.

islam should be banned in America. mosques should not be allowed to exist because islam is not a religion, it is a socio-political construct that is treason to our Constitution and way of life.

911 was just the beginning and they are patient. The worst is yet to come.

Watch the video again. Note the increased light intensity during flight? This is indicative of a multi-stage rocket separation, no?

Doubt it. First of all, the launch was at sea. An serious amateur would know that 35 miles is not far enough at sea to avoid problems with the FAA which could shut them down from their beloved hobby forever and the FAA said that no one applied for a license to launch.

In 2005 this one went straight up for 72 miles...

It would take a good sized boat to do it on water!

I've seen Vanderburg missile launches before... Titans and Minutemen.

Both were out of the atmosphere in a quarter of the time that this "missile" was recorded travelling. Maybe faster.

They launch, they're up in the stratosphere in a brief moment, and then they disappear into space like the taillights of a car driving off into a foggy night. The contrails go wildly screwy in a zig-zag fashion all over the sky in just a few minutes after launch.

I'm thinking that this mysterious "missile" is a jetliner or a Gulfstream corporate jet.

Those pic’s sure make it look like a Jet contrail to me, but I am not ready to rule out the more likely cause.

Amish launching a weather balloon just like they did over Area 51 during the 1950s.

Also, an amateur rocket launch of that magnitude would require the talents of dozens of people and when you have that many people, somebody is going to talk.

If it was not a US sub then there was a MASSIVE breakdown in our sensor and warning systems to allow an enemy/unknown sub to get only 35 miles to our shore. Knowing Obastard, I would not put it past him to order our shores to be unmonitored and unprotected.

That's what I have seen whenever they launch them to shoot them down with interceptors from Vandenberg. Also the contrails stay in the sky (stratosphere) pretty much forever until it gets dark. They don't dissipate.

If it was a US missile would the Pentagon acknowledge it?

...The contrails go wildly screwy in a zig-zag fashion all over the sky in just a few minutes after launch...

That's caused by wind shear. The wind blows in different directions and different speeds at different altitudes.

They will hold a launch if the upper level winds are out of spec for that particular vehicle.

“To anticipate everyone’s next question, the answer is “yes.” As in “Yes, it’s time to panic.” Because if a lifetime of watching James Bonds movies has taught me anything it’s that THIS is exactly how brilliant, insane, criminal masterminds operate. They build a hidden offshore lair somewhere and they launch friggin’ missles. This is right out of the SPECTRE playbook. I guaran-damn-tee you that right now there’s a giant hidden base in a dormant volcano off the coast of Catalina running wild with henchmen in matching designer jumpsuits. Sure, the government is going to make up some cock & bull story about a misfire or an unscheduled test or their usual cover story about a weather balloon or something. But that’s just to distract us from knowing that our asses are about to be reduced to ashes unless we give this lunatic what he wants. So you heard it here first. We’re doomed. I just hope whoever is behind it waits until after the football season to take over the world.”

Missile that size, with that kind of fuel would roast a pleasure boat on take-off.

You would have to tow a launch barge built on maybe a pontoon boat. This would launch a hobby missile on the order of the 1600 pound one in the Youtube video. However, getting the platform stable enough to do the launch would be real sketchy. But I think this missile was far larger than 1600 lbs.
