More to today’s points:

Time magazine has characterized financier George Soros as a “modern-day Robin Hood,” who robs from the rich to give to the poor countries of eastern Europe and Russia. It claimed that Soros makes huge financial gains by speculating against western central banks, in order to use his profits to help the emerging post-communist economies of eastern Europe and former Soviet Union, to assist them to create what he calls an “Open Society.” The Time statement is entirely accurate in the first part, and entirely inaccurate in the second. He robs from rich western countries, and uses his profits to rob even more savagely from the East, under the cloak of “philanthropy.” His goal is to loot wherever and however he can. Soros has been called the master manipulator of “hit-and-run capitalism.”

is an airliners contrail. The evidence is truly overwhelming now.

The curly whirly in this theory is the single thick corkscrew contrail. Airliners do not leave those, solid-fueled rockets do during testing to limit their speed and range.

How does a setting sun in the west (behind an object) reflect light to the east (towards the viewer)???????

Because the sun is at an angle below the object...so it's actually glinting off the bottom. This is the same effect that gives you your best look at satellites in space just after dark (to the West, before their orbits enter Earth's shadow).

Do jets typically take off from 35 miles of the CA coast?

Does the sun crash into the ground every evening?

Ignore the “government comments”, “retired expert” opinion, etc. and just look at the raw information.

Ignore the single thick corkscrew rocket exhaust pattern as well.

Google Point Mugu,
“36,000 square miles restricted airspace over sea, expandable to 125,000 square miles”

Can you look up the Navel closure in the area also? I heard about it on the radio but don't know to look it up.

I have come to the conclusion, that Soros is the public face of a shadowy international group whose mission is to destroy the USA. until we trace the source of his billions and the use of those billions, we will continue to be clandestinely attacked.

Contrails typically form at high altitudes (unless it's really humid or really cold at lower levels). A plane just taking off (or landing) doesn't normally leave one (although I did see one once from a plane landing in Denver at -25F).

The plane in question here (US808?) was inbound from Hawaii to Phoenix, so it was flying over LA at altitude, so it would have been able to have one.

I assure you, I have seen similar before, it is exactly what pepole are saying, it is an airliners contrail.

I read yesterday that there were dozens of aircraft in and around LA yesterday around that timeframe.

Why is there only one contrail?

Okay. I get it. We are wasting each other’s time discussing this.

Let’s talk sports.

The sources are hidden in plain view. That thing that I just posted can can a reference to other info, some good - most questionable. You have to look if you wish.

It’s nothing new, history repeats itself. If you get the sense tht the gbmnt doesn’t represent the best interests of ‘We The People’ it’s because it doesn’t. Just follow the money.

Don’t ignore that. But stick with objective statements (like “the exhaust pattern”) and avoid subjective descriptions like “single” and “corkscrew”.

To: MarkLevinFan; pfflier

pfflier is right.

The facts are that people have brought forth plenty of evidence over the last two days to show that this was a contrail created by a passenger jet descending at near dusk through cold wintertime aerial thermoclines, illuminated from underneath by the setting sun that had receded beneath the horizon of the viewer. Same thing goes for the reflection off the underbelly of the aircraft which has been mistaken by the hysterics as rocket exhaust. This is all a fairly common phenomenon. Even the suggested flight which caused this has been identified.

Still, no amount of reasoning can convince those who insist “I seen me a CHINESE missile launched from a sub-moe-reen! Maybe it was Venezuelan! The Pentagons is all LIARS!” and who have absolutely no evidence of their own to show the slightest indication that it was: No witnesses on the ocean or in the air to corroborate a sea-launched missile (and there would be), and no observers on the coast reported the same.

The thing that horrifies many of the rest of us is that we just found out that we live in an age where a TV news station can show 15 seconds of video of a peculiar passenger jet contrail and tens of thousands of people fly into hysterics about Iranian/Russian/Chinese (or maybe even Venezuelan!) ballistic missile submarines launching SLBMs right off the coast of California and somehow getting away with it. When the Pentagon is pressed for answers and they’re rightfully responding with “Um, what the hell are you talking about?”, even THAT becomes part of the great conspiracy. It’s just absurd, and people need to stop getting swept up by the screwballs who still cling to the completely unfounded Chinese missile sub theory. They’re already accusing long time participants here who are trying to talk some sense into them that they’re government plants sent here to deceive the public about this alleged ‘missile launch’. Are you going to be one of them?

Next thing that you know, they’ll be petitioning for the recent Tea Party candidates who’ve all just won elections last week to be recalled because they too must be in the act of the ‘big cover-up’, since they’re not trying to get to the bottom of the greatest threat to the continental USA since the 9/11 attacks: “They’re in on it too, y’all! The Tea Party is all government agents covering up the Chinese missile!!!”

Seriously, get your head screwed back on, MarkLevinFan. At this point, it truly is an intelligence test. It’s perfectly reasonable to call someone stupid at this point if they’re still clinging to this comically disappointing Chinese missile launch theory and don’t even grasp the basics of the evidence against them:

“I don’t want to see no more pictures. I saw what I saw and know what I saw. It wuz a MISSILE! Not no airplane!”

... and that’s almost exactly the response I’ve seen on a number of threads.

This article from AccuWeather includes a photograph

OMG, look at their video, there's a UFO at approx. the 32 second mark.......Why isn't anyone mentioning this?

Could it be that the video was indeed that of a missle being fired at the UFO but it missed? This is a hugh story that is getting swept under the rug.......

You can track flights realtime on FlightAware. A plane coming from Honolulu to Phoenix would certainly appear to be coming from the ocean surface. Planes are known to make course corrections during flight. Since a similar contrail was reported near the same time the next day, well.
