He was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

Suspicion being the key word. If results come back he was impaired or under the influence then that changes the picture.

That being said a spokesman for the Saddle Tramps MC said the guy that hit them was not at fault, it was the driver in the Honda that didn’t stop.

To some, they are all illegal, illiterate, and drunk all the time."

Those with Hispanic surnames populating your town's police blotter are invariably: (A) Illegal
(B) Illiterate
(C) Most Often Drunk when arrested, or high. Which is also true of ALL other arrests.

Deal with it.

But, many people lump all hispanics into the category you mentioned and that is wrong. I know many and have met hundreds with hispanic names that are upstanding law abiding citizens. What is upsetting is the mindset of many on this forum that anyone mentioned in an article with a hispanic named is automaticly labeled an illegal, a drunk along with other such derogatory names. So anyone that does that, IMHO, is a prejudiced jerk.

The "automatic" part of any label is un-American. Any law-abiding American citizen is as good as any other.

I also. Now let's close that damned border, strictly regulate immigration according to laws on the books, and get on with it.

It's Newtonian Physics and Sociology, too. For every social action, there is an opposite and equal REACTION. The action here is illegal immigration, and also affirmative action. It would be naive not to expect an unattractive reaction that is equally obnoxious.

"Tough cases make bad law"

As far as this particular case goes, IMHO, there is no case.

A test 5 hours after the fact isn't much evidence at all. The cop "smell test" ditto. That's no matter what the "true" facts of the case are.

With witnesses saying that another car was involved, etc. etc., this turns into just another tragic accident. There are two sides to every story ,,, and then there's what really happened.

As a Texan, which has always had a very large and very responsible Mexican-American population from the Alamo forward, you have a more balanced view. In other states that have had a huge influx of illegal Mexicans in a very short time, that balance has been a bit tipped!

Over the next 100 years, the Hispanic population will become a solid majority in many areas, based largely on the faulty concept of "anchor babies" born to illegals. No one can predict the results. But happen it will

CHP said he reeked and or smelled of alcohol and was arrested on suspension of DUI.

Question:

If the Mexican was drunk and or *impaired* by alcohol, could this have been a cause of him losing control of his vehicle, crossing the center line and killing the American bikers?

Yes or no?

American citizens are nothing more than ignored collateral damage in this invasion.

We really should treat foreigners the way their own countries treat foreigners. That would halt illegal immigration, especially from Mexico, within a year.
