I just cancelled my Christmas flights and hotel reservations.

I usually travel a lot but because of an unexpected health problem, I haven’t been flying for the last couple of months. I was going to go home for Christmas, but I don’t think I want either the x-ray or the personal pat-down, particularly after major surgery. Instead, I picked a place I can reach by car. It may be a long drive, but I can stop when I get tired and I will get there.

There's always long long lines at O’Hare on Thanksgiving holiday time. I don't agree with anything Obama and his minions have done so far but we don't know what intelligence they are working off of. UNREAL! We’re retired and have chosen NOT TO FLY anywhere. Just packed up the RV and are spending the week in Laughlin, NV. Will plan a day trip to Vegas either Monday or Tuesday. MUCH less hassle.

Chertoff runs a security consulting agency that was touting the scanners to the govt. The scanner company (Rapiscan...no, I am not making that up!) is a client of Chertoff’s company. He’s not the CEO.
