Tonight is the final chance for the three remaining contestants on "Dancing With the Stars" to impress the viewers at home.
As we've seen this season in particular, high scores from the judges may be nice. But, it's the viewers who matter because their votes can make an impact.
Going into tonight's season finale are Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey & Bristol Palin.
Getting to this point wasn't always a smooth trip. There were some tense moments at the production office for "Dancing With the Stars."
ABC says a white powder in an envelope was delivered to the office this past Friday. It turned out to be talcum powder.
But, before they knew that, hazardous materials officials with the city of Los Angeles, fire department, police and FBI arrived at the studio lot where the ABC show airs.
This comes just days after the shock that viewers have put low-scorer Bristol Palin in the finals of "Dancing With the Stars," while voting off Brandy, who's had some of the highest scores from the judges.
Watch tonight's show at 8 p.m. and the results show Tuesday at 9 p.m. on ABC.

I haven’t been watching at all — not much interested — but I guess I hadn’t seen Jennifer Gray in quite a while, since Dirty Dancing and Ferris Bueller. I liked her better with her old nose. Now she’s been surgically sculpted into just another generic-looking female celebrity. Oh well. At least she didn’t get trout lips like Meg Ryan.
Grey is the granddaughter of comedian & musician Mickey Katz. She is an alumna of the Dalton School, a private school in Manhattan, & studied both dance and acting.
Following engagements to Matthew Broderick (her on-screen brother in Ferris Bueller's Day Off) & Johnny Depp, and after dating George Stephanopoulos, Grey married actor/director Clark Gregg.

TV Shows are all about ratings and sponsorship. ABC is having an orgasm over this one. Can you imagine what the ratings would be say, if Joy Behar or Woopie was one of the dancers instead of Palin would you bother to vote? The amount of viewers would be way way down unless of course you added Bristol to the mix, then it would be more like a brawl in regard to the voting.
She really did get a lot of work done on her face, didn’t recognize her at all.
So how do we get the information out to the media.
She should never have accepted a position on the show. OTOH I'm sure her agent obtained it for her.
And when Emmit Smith won people were requesting them to vote for him because he was Emmit Smith. It doesn’t - what part of THAT don’t YOU understand? Do you not think there are people voting for whomever because they are NOT a Palin? Works both ways friend. And for your information, I’m voting for Bristol because she has shown the most improvement for someone who came into the show with zero dance OR entertainment experience - same reason I was voting for Kelly Osbourne. What does it matter why people vote for whomever they vote for? Are you the DWTS voting police?
I’m sure ABC is thrilled over the ratings and the number of people voting.
People like Bristol, and they relate to her. She’s a small-town Alaskan girl who never saw a Broadway show. Jennifer Grey and her famous Broadway dancer father probably fainted when they heard that Bristol never saw the show, “Chicago.”

I would guess it was a joint decision by Jennifer and the ABC execs. Her last dance number last night and her mention of Patrick Swayze clinched it for me. She was dragged out of obscurity because of the recent passing of Swayze. I guess in some people’s minds, there is nothing wrong with cashing in on that, but somehow Bristol didn’t belong there because she’s not a “star”??
Correction, poor Jennifer Grey (who’s political affiliation I don’t know) is up against THE TEA PARTY. ;-)
Bristol is so beautiful, just like her mom! She’s got chutzpah and moxie too, that’s what I like! :-)
