Soon they’ll have this shiny disk they can flash as they pass through an unexpected checkpoint.

I'm waiting for Katie Couric and Diane Sawyer to get a pass, but not Megyn Kelly or Greta Van Susteren.

The agency would not explain why it makes these exceptions, but many of the exempted government officials have gone through several levels of security clearances, including FBI background checks.

I've been through those same FBI background checks. I believe that I've been through some that most Congressmen have never been through.

So, where's my pass?

Cabinet secretaries, top congressional leaders and an exclusive group of senior U.S. officials are exempt from toughened new airport screening procedures when they fly commercially with government-sanctioned security details.

In other words, the CROOKS will be exempted.

I have a concealed carry permit from the State of New York, which means that I have gone through several levels of security screening from the local county sheriff, NYS Troopers, ATF, and FBI. I guess that means I can bypass TSA security also.

It’s always interesting to watch uniformed military personnel being searched at the TSA stations. It’s almost as if we’ve reached the point where common sense doesn’t apply.

I fly quite often and I'm still somewhat perplexed by the issue.. it just doesn't seem like a big deal to me. The groping of kids, grandfolks and nuns is ridiculous though. It shows how impotent Barack Obama is in actually doing his constitutional duty as president instead of trying to control more and more of our lives...
