Joe Scarborough Tells GOP to 'Man Up' to 'Anti-Intellectual' Sarah Palin

Joe Scarborough, the host of MSNBC's Morning Joe, recently took to the op-ed page of Politico and, instead of saying something noncommittal or supportive, complained that the Republican Party needed to "man up" when it came to Sarah Palin and stop publicly playing nice with a potential candidate that not only cannot be elected but has the added potential of destroying the GOP's chances for taking the White House in 2012. Scarborough notes at the outset of his commentary that the same Republican leaders who will not state publicly that Sarah Palin would "devastate" the Republican Party do so privately. He suggests they reverse that trend.

"Republicans have a problem," Scarborough writes. "The most-talked-about figure in the GOP is a reality show star who cannot be elected. And yet the same leaders who fret that Sarah Palin could devastate their party in 2012 are too scared to say in public what they all complain about in private."

Joe is entitled to his opinion, even if it does suck.

"Anti-intellectual"

There is an aphorism attributed to Kruschev who upon the failure of yet another five year plan is supposed to have said,>P?"What we really need to do around here is to shoot a few more intellectuals."

Clowns like Scarborough are already using the meme "Gravitas".

I will take Sarah the barracuda and VERTIAS.

I think knowing it’s Joe Scarborough covers that.

I have admit that I never watch his show, but I've read enough excerpts from News Busters to know that he will NEVER cross the RATS. Any issues that he raises seems to be with Republicans. Maybe that is why he fits in so well on that network. He is no more a conservative than is Kathleen Barker.

Sarah Palin could shoot and dress out Joe in about five minutes.

Be a great segment for her show.

Scarborough is paid by the Communist loving GE organization. He is a male prostitute for the Left. Ignore him.

This seems to be this new gimmick. To say Republicans are telling me the opposite (insert issue) in private. Now it is about taxes on millionaires.

He seems to be moving more toward left after being reprimanded. Can't watch anymore.

Republicans are also sending me signals about Joe.

They suggest he may have ceased taking his prescription medications.

Doesn’t Joe Scarborough work at the pleasure of GE? Didn’t the FED print money to give to GE? Whatever Joe advises, the GOP would be wise to do the opposite.
