I have a friend who used to make it all the time. Seems to me it’s all in the dough. She would often change the fillings around. No matter what filling, it always tasted wonderful.

No. I never did.

Fruit fillings tend to expand/swell.

Apricot is popular and traditional but the rolls tend to split.

A weird one that is good is cottage cheese and crushed pineapple.

Poppy seed is traditional

No No.. Baklava is way to sweeet and flakey with the honey and all.

This stuff is all buttery and yeasty and nutty.

Both are served with coffee, but baklava is like pecan pie. you can only have a smidgen of it.

This was made to fill your belly
