Propaganda doesn’t have to match reality!
Funny thing is, calling electromagnetic energy a wave implies it is moving in something. Just of one those things that don’t make sense quite yet.
In fact, the only you can count on is what 'weather' you can personally feel/see/experienc or correctly remember - NOTHING ELSE. All else is horseshit.
Well...you must be warned...see #59.
..and it's tracking toward the Bay Area and Sierra this weekend..
and unsettled is in forecast for all next week to boot..
Them ski resorts are gonna be packed,,
if folks can get to them..

Hey ...that is right up there with my Favorite by Tennessee Ernie Ford...29 Tons of Coal and what do you get?
That's a good example, I'll have to remember to use it. The only problem with it is that many warmists are so ignorant of science, that they probably have no idea about what you're talking about — or, they still believe in the aether theory. (Consider the petition to ban H20, signed by many at the Cancun gabfest.)
I sometimes ask whether the warmist can name a scientific breakthrough. Then, I point out that it was a breakthrough, because it disproved the previous scientific consensus. I also add that every single scientific advancement has come at the expense of the previous scientific consensus.
“CONSENSUS IS NOT PROOF”
Exactly. I have often said that anyone who uses the term “scientific consensus”, as if it were proof of something, is completely ignorant of science. If you hear that argument used, you don't have to know anything more about your interlocutor. He's either an ignoramus, or duplicitous.
Only if you confuse electromagnetic radiation with sound waves. Sound waves require a material medium, electromagnetic radiation does just fine in a vacuum.
All I can say is - Thank Gaia for Global Warming - if it weren’t for GW it would be even colder than it is now - colder than a witches left tit in a brass brassiere.
At which point one politely calls them an idiot and walks away...:-)

Sixteen tons. It’s government accounting :0)
Senior memory!
Inflation.
Inflation, and conflation converting first to metric units, then back again.
Liberal math.
Duh. I don’t like cold.
Interesting. Another thing to add to that is when the outer atmosphere cools substantially, it has more variability in external warming events, the best example being bursts of galactic cosmic rays which are uneven. Some solar effects are uneven as well. In any case the sharp temperature contrasts in the stratosphere create extreme large scale weather patterns in the troposphere. So we end up with extreme highs and deep upper lows. We are seeing those now since solar activity is relatively low and thus not blocking the GCRs.
The super salty water drives the current by sinking. It doesn't really matter how much ice melts, only how much freezes each year. Right now with extremely negative NAO and AO (or temps of -20F instead of -30F) there won't be as much Arctic ice created, but probably plenty to keep the current going.
And that is the odd thing. They do act like waves, but in truth are not.
And that is the odd thing. They do act like waves, but in truth are not.
Look, both the particle - photon - and wave models of electromagnetic radiation are valid and accepted. Read up on the ‘wave-particle duality’. This is basic quantum mechanics. Sheesh!
Or what novel ‘truth’ are you talking about?
