Opinion: 'Don't Ask/Don't Tell' Repeal is Not a 'Civil Rights' Breakthrough
Catholic Online ^ | 12/19/10 | Keith A Fournier

On Saturday, December 18, 2019, the United States Senate voted 65-31 to pass legislation lifting the current policy in the United States Military referred to as "Don't Ask, Don't Tell".

...In what is presented as a "civil rights" breakthrough, service men and women with same sex attraction will soon be able to openly declare that acting on those sexual desires identifies who they are as persons. In addition, everybody in the military service must accept it and welcome it. They will also be able to openly express those desires in the pattern of their lives as members of the armed forces. Of course, there will be some limits as there are on heterosexual sexual practices.

The strategic activists committed to the homosexual equivalency movement - which seeks to enforce a societal acceptance of homosexual, bi-sexual and lesbian sexual relationships as morally equivalent to opposite sex marriage - have succeeded on one more front in their agenda.

I’d like to know if those cheering yesterday’s decision are now planning to join up.

“If you are too short or too tall you can’t serve in the military.” “What about their civil rights?”

Good question.

I just can't see what the rush to appease, what maybe 2-5% of the entire population (what that calculates to in terms of the number of gays in the military, I don't know) is.

Destroying thousands of years of civilization and history for a group of individuals that up until ~30 years ago were considered to be either/or/or both criminal/mentally unstable is mind-boggling.

Why? Do they wield that much money and influence? The numbers suggest no. So, what's the answer?

Is being against homosexuality the same scourge being a racist? Not in my opinion. For 50+ years we have been conditioned to think that being racist is the worst thing to be. Think about it, you're looked on more favorably if you're a junkie, drunk or murderer than a racist. So, for the last ~25 years “they” have been trying the same thing with homosexuality, even though equating skin color with bedroom preferences is at best a false argument.

For example, look at many TV shows and movies, most of them have the token minority, the stupid, loud, heterosexual, fat white people (especially the men), the woman who's the boss and the gay. The real hoot is that the token gay character is usually looked at as the moral compass. Really? I stumbled across a few minutes of a show called “Degrassi High” and they have a tranny-bi-I-don't-know-what-the-hell-it's-supposed-to-be character (played by a female) that's pretending to be a HS boy lusting after a girl. Are you sh*tting me or what? And this is a show aimed at youngsters.

So, regardless of our religious beliefs, our personal beliefs and our values, we have to “accept” this lifestyle? Genetic or not, it is not a normal way to live. The time to say “this stops now” has long past with this social engineering bullsh*t.

Also, why does the gay community demand recognition and deference but they won’t return the favor by respecting the military’s distinctive warrior culture, which will be altered to some extent by this new law?

Scumbag Joe Lieberman called this vote the greatest of his career as a filthy politician. He should be thrown out of office along with the other losers who voted for this perversion. These idiots are more interested in gay sex then the security of this country.

I wonder if anybody is going to mention WHY DADT was started. Has this congressional bill changed the UCMJ. Cause sodomy is still punishable by Court Martial.

So many people do not see that the REAL homosexual agenda is to have sex with children.

The homosexuals are ultimately targeting children.

“I don’t know about the welcome part.”

The top NCO aide to Gates said that if there were troops that couldn’t accept this, then they were bigots and it’s time to kick them out. That’s what it’s come to. Military men saying that moral standards is bigotry.

Why would anyone want to serve in this military now?

Gates and all these liberal fascists want a right to murder and genocide. Liberals are vicious and come out their fascist closet once they know they can.

The right to euthanasia and a leader to self destruct, to suicide, to murder, to be a fag.

THIS IS WHAT THEY WANT.

TIME TO STOP THE INSANITY BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.

This has been part of the FABIAN (Progressive) agenda over the last 100 years.

John Maynard Keynes (1925) laid down the line which has been pursued by Leftists to the present day in demanding that distribution of narcotics be unrestricted. Homosexuals find drugs a useful adjunct in loosening moral inhibitions to perversion. And this ravisher of little boys feigned sympathy for the masses by urging universal rights for users of narcotics. He declared: “how far is bored and suffering humanity to be allowed, from time to time, an escape, an excitement, a stimulus, a possibility of change?”

Keynes and his conspirators projected homosexuality and drug addiction as an intrinsic part of their collectivist society of the future. His male sweetheart, Lytton Strachey, wrote privately that they would corrupt the whole population, “subtly, through literature, into the bloodstream of the people, and in such a way that they accepted it all naturally, if need be without at first realizing what it was to which they were agreeing.” He boasted that he intended “to seduce his readers to tolerance through laughter and sheer entertainment.” He pointed out that the object was “to write in a way that would contribute to an eventual change in our ethical and sexual mores - a change that couldn’t be done in a minute, but would unobtrusively permeate the more flexible minds of young people.” J. M. Keynes put it in the terms of Marxist economics:

“When the accumulation of wealth is no longer of high social importance, there will be great changes in the code of morals. We shall be able to rid ourselves of many pseudo-moral principles which have hagridden us for two hundred years....”
Keynes and Strachey used their malignant writings to help contaminate the entire English-speaking world. In the United States they both found expression in the New Republic, the New York Times, and the Saturday Review Of Literature.

As Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson says:

“I know many former gays. I don’t know any former Blacks. It is not a civil rights issue.”

Is it true they are shutting down Pendleton and moving training to Broakback Mountain?

Henceforth all male BDUs will be manufactured with a bomb door style drop flap in the rear, similar to those found on old style "Long Johns" and "Union Suits".

Distribution of standard BDUs with the solid rear will be discontinued.

So, regardless of our religious beliefs, our personal beliefs and our values, we have to “accept” this lifestyle

The thing is, the woman plays the woman's role, period. The male homosexual wants the woman's role, wants to steal it and claim it. Come on now, it is totally disingenuous: it's not about them getting girl jobs, but about their jealousies and INTERFERING PSEUDO-competitive behavior against woman.

Something is wrong with these people, they are insane, and gayness is a cover and a cop out for their inherent insanity in many cases, as they may not be gay at all in fact! Gayness might just be a symptom of something much worse and morbid, and, yet, we are told not to treat it and look at it, and we are told we are the ones who need to look inside ourselves if we are homophobes.

Ridiculous that we have to pay for their log in their eye without ever removing it.

The whole fantasy and getting murderous for insulting their gay flag is worse than the nationalism that got WWI started. These people are jumpy crazed maniacs looking for some darkness and excuse to kill people for free... and who knows what, but something very very upseting is going to come out of this. That this is going tolerated in the Military is SCANDAL of the first order.

So under the guise of fearing the death penalty, responsibility or what not, we all have to ignore this and spoil rot this country again and let go of it? Of course our government likes when its evil plantation minions get to misbehave, but it is when the free loving people call em out that punishment comes down?

Just like parents who do not discipline pedophiloid perverted kids of theirs, "they do not want to punish" or "judge", yet they are the ones who are ignoring the abuse in the first place.

Smacking a gay in the face is a lesser harm than ignoring the obvious abuse and taxpayer laddening activity bail out system there is going on for the special benefit of these people. It's crazy.

They pull the pink card to stay out of responsibility?

I got news for them: they never had a card in the first place. WE HAVE THE CARD, and it will be pulled and they will be very sorry when we start getting the paddles out and the cards ourselves.

Just my opinion, but the Dems made a huge mistake by repealing DADT and not the UCMJ section that prohibits homosexual activity. Here’s hoping that the new Congress will let the military leaders know in no uncertain terms that it will NOT tolerate the sexual harassment of heterosexual males and females by gays and lesbians, and that any such sexual harassment will be dealt with by a court martial with an accompanying bad conduct discharge with forfeiture of benefits upon conviction.

The senate vote wasn't even close. That by itself is disturbing.

It shows you how out of touch the Senate is. And how many actual conservatives there are in that decrepit body.

This shows, once again, how vital it is to crush the RINOs and flush them out of Congress. Traitors are worse than enemies.
