It’s a very nice subway - clean and well-lit, including the bathrooms. I’d trade DC metro for it in a heartbeat.

Latest is that explosives were present, but no means of detonation.

So will they simultaneously NOT explode? Guess so!

“usually they self-destruct ... a paper bag is a different MO”

once they have access to the Internet in the west, jihadis would rather set bombs & run away so they can go back to their nasty porn collection.

Self-detonation is a lot rarer in the west than in their own countries.

*taking notes like a third grader*

Could have fooled me. You've been around a while and have posted plenty of pics. I am kind of surprised you didn't know all this.

You change font colors using font color=@@@@@commands.

Like I said html can be fun.....

When something like this is found, it seems like any following reports (for clarification,LOL) are written purposely to keep everyone from knowing if it was actually a bomb or not. Here are two quotes from the same article for example:

"An explosive device was found Tuesday"

"Bomb disposal experts are looking into what it is"

Okay, I’m Jewish - but has anyone else noticed muslims going after Catholics extra hard lately?

Italians knew what to do about Islam at the Battle of Lepanto. Thanks to them and the Spaniards in 1571 AD - we are not muslims today.

You can't be serious - I agree it takes you where you want to go, but I take issue with the "clean' remark ...

Not really surprising this thread died when it was determined Muslims weren’t responsible

This would be utter mayhem. Rome subways are crazy on normal days.

Thanks to all who enlightened me on the Roman subway system. It had been a while since I was there. I was either focussed on the ancient above ground ruins or the busload of high school students I was helping keep with the group to be very observant. I do remember the S.P.Q.R. on the manhole covers. :-) If I should ever make it back to Italy in this lifetime, I will check out the sites underground.
