Fox News via Bret Baier says she has died - one source - plus NPR, along with muliple others.
Some reports say three, some reports say six others.
The congresswoman has died, for sure.
Very sad, such a tragedy that’s OUTRAGEOUS!
One of the comments at SFGate.com (link to AP story) is already trying to tie it to "Tea Partiers, Fox News and Glenn Beck"

Don't quite get the analogy - at least not yet.
The Kristallnacht in Nazi Germany was precipitated proximately by the killing of a German diplomat in Paris by an angry Jewish youth.
We don't know yet here whether the perp was a natural adversary of the regime or not. My intuitive guess is that the perp was a left radical Latino.
If it was a Cartel hit, they just upped the ante 100 fold.

Whoever did it and for whatever reason, rest assured, your federal government will not waste this opportunity to use it against the people. They will tighten the shackles on the American slaves (formerly, the American citizens) and use this as an excuse. It will be for “security”. Lots of FReepers and “conservatives” will agree that the measures must be taken.

She was more conservative than liberal (except in her prochoice).
She was a believer in Military (her husband was military and also an astronaut).
She was a believer in gun RIGHTS.
She was a believer in strict borders and punishment for those who employed illegals.
She was democrat in name only. She was a blue dog democrat.
This was a cartel hit, I believe. Name me one TP member who has caused violence. However, there are quite a few news stories out there that have shown liberals letting lose on those who have differing opinions. Liberals tend to be the ones who are intolerant.

This is awful on so many levels. It isn’t just a congress person who was attacked, our system was attacked.
And Fox won’t confirm (since there is a lot of conflicting information coming in) but it looks like there are others dead as well.

It was just reported on Fox that the gunman was yelling something before he started shooting.
