Pat Buchanan Smacks Down Bill Press: 'You’ve Got to Get Beyond Being a Fringe Talk Show Host'
News Busters ^ | 15 Jan 2011 | Noel Sheppard

During an impromptu reunion of CNN's "Crossfire" Friday, Pat Buchanan told his old sparring partner Bill Press, "You’ve got to get beyond being a fringe talk show host."

In the middle of a very heated debate on MSNBC's "The Ed Show," Buchanan strongly cautioned the host and his liberal guest, "I think this last week, there’s been a climate of hatred built up against [Sarah Palin] who did nothing and I tell you, if she does run for president of the United States, I pray to the lord she’s given secret service protection from day one" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

The set up was incredible.

The moderator (Schultz?) is a radical lib. He teed up the topic by giving all the reasons it was Sarah Palin's fault.

Then his moderation role becomes one of arguing with Bill Press against Pat Buchanan, 2 on 1. Liberalism as mental disorder on full display.

I guess the norm is 3 or 4 libs to 1 conservative, which is why Pat got his points across so well.

"Pat. She had a chance. She missed it. She blew it. She’s done. "

I don't get it. What is he taking about?

What chance did Gov Sarah miss?

What do they want from her? do they themselves know?

“She had a chance. She missed it. She blew it. She’s done.”

Says Bill Press. But Bill, it WAS blood libel, don’t you like the truth?

“I am convinced that God has his hand on her. Everytime they attack her she rises stronger.”

I think the other side may realize that they screwed up and made her stronger again. Can you imagine how angry they are now?

I was on a troubleshooting telephone discussion with Microsoft today, and after they solved the problem,I mentioned the Videos were down again on my home page. They told me that that was not them but MSNBC that handled that duty. I told the Gal that I thought that Microsoft should totally disavow any connection to that network and really quickly. Then I told her the reasons, and she was shocked when I told her about that crazy S.O.B. Schultz who was so nutty he was threatening his fellow workers. I told her about Matthews,Olberman,Schultz and Maddow and how off the wall scary they are in their psychotic comments. She wanted to change the subject, but I got my points across.

Sarah Palin is a political figure, she’s a person who has used a lot of inflammatory rhetoric

Libtards have to blame a bad society or some bad part of society such as conservatives for any bad behavior of one of its members. It's like a mindless, knee-jerk reflex with them. If they can blame society, then they can fix it by controlling society and creating a behaviorist utopia and eliminating the things they despise such as Christianity, capitalism, and conservatives such as Palin.

The ironic thing is that while the left hears and does not understand anything one man that cannot hear gets it all. The man behind the golden microphone. The Will Rogers of our time.

Excellent catch!! And his defense of Sarah has been brilliant. Especially his riposte to snide so-called Republicans who say she can't win - "so what you're telling me is that you would rather have Obama?"

Ah, but a Lieutenant General in German is called an Oberst General, literally, a Colonel General. And when you think about it, it makes more sense. A Major outranks a lieutenant, and therefore, a Lieutenant General shouldn't outrank a Major General!

Yeah you're right. Like they have been able to fix places like Detroit, St. Louis, New Orleans, Washington, DC - or any other place in this country or worldwide for that matter.

OK, i swallowed my disgust of Ed Schultz and Bill Press and forced my self to watch two Maroons being completely encircled and destroyed by superior intellect. Isn’t it amazing the fantasy world these clowns live in?

“Damn, that’s a great post BC!”

Thanks, Todd. She is a GREAT candidate. It is easy to write about her. Imagine the difficulty in drawing such analogies in the case of Huckabee and Romney. They would generate derision even over at Mitt and Huck Central.
