Every birther needs to file a lawsuit in fed court, once they are swamped somebody is gonna do something to unblock the system. Can you imagine 1 million people from all over the country sue, or file at the same time. It will freak out some people. Take a page from the lib war book.
There’s a bill I’d like to see passed in at least one state which, along with requiring birth and citizenship documentation and transaction logs for the records (to identify forgery or tampering), would require the SOS to deny placement on the ballot if eligibility was contested, unless and until all appeals in the courts were done and the result was SCOTUS declaring the candidate eligible.
One of the things I really like about this kind of bill is that the courts would be required to “decide all cases and controversies arising from” the Constitution and laws, as Article III requires. And because the court ultimately decides whether the candidate is eligible or not, if the candidate is ruled to be ineligible any party official who signed a certification of nomination for that candidate would be liable for contempt of court charges.
So even if it was the tiniest of the 57 states (cough) that enacted the law, the lowly “fly-over country” to the elitists - its law could hold the DNC, RNC, and every state and federal bureaucrat accountable to the law on this issue.
David and Goliath. Doesn’t everybody (except the giant. lol) love it when the little guy wins?
The bill I’d like to see enacted in at least one state is at http://butterdezillion.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/final-short-form-eligibility-bill1.pdf .
To get it passed it has to be introduced before the state’s deadline, and if it gets introduced we can be sure Obama’s handlers will be on it so we will need to push the legislators. And encourage them and truthfully tell them we’ve got their backs.
We’ll have the SOTU that the media will be paying attention to next week; that’s all they’ll be talking about. Which will be the IDEAL time for us to be working on our state legislators to make a huge push for accountability and the rule of law.
Obama knows that his birth certificate can be released under a subpoena, at any time. A congressional subpoena by the new House majority could have done it on January 3rd. And thus far, the Republicans are afraid to touch it.
While I agree with your assertions, I do not see there being a downside for Republicans asking to provide the document. They can just simply state that they want to “clear up any confusion” regarding the issue, so “we can all move on and work together in a bi-partisan manner” or some other similarly inane blathering nonsense. At this point, the majority of the American public now question his eligibility to hold the presidency; the psychotic liberals (redundant, I know) couldn’t care less if he is eligible or not, as they would support Mao, Stalin, or anyone else pushing centralized state governance.
