Type allen west into the searchbox.
I have done this several times and am at this moment on the telephone with a FRiend overseas who has ALSO done this search with the SAME result! LOOK at the ONE ad in the sidebar!!!
Please see if you get the same result!

Go the same result, but there is a band named ‘obituary’ with a musician named Allen West as a member. The bands members are former members of fairly well known gigs, so he is probably generating more hits than Lt Col West.
The musician West is likely buying ads on searches for his name pointing them to his current band - nothing new here, most musicians do it.

I’ve used google for years with no problems.
This was sent to me by a concerned person and when I got it, with all that google has been involved in up to its neck and beyond, in the events still unfurling, I was very bothered by it as well.
Maybe posting this thread will enlighten them that we are indeed watching...and that we don’t trust them even a little bit.
Besides, everybody isn’t as perfect as those who have insulted me wish they were. I ain’t.......but I’m close.

No, Condor. I don’t log in to google or live. I really am paranoid about who tries to drop cookies on me...and I think google is evil. So maybe you are right. It was just a curious thing that it kept coming up, even in Europe, which is where I got the heads up from. Usually, we don’t get the exact same results on our searches. That was kind of a red flag for me.
My problem with google isn’t the search engine per se. It is what they do with it. This week one of its ad execs became a spokesman for the nuslim brotherhood. algore is on its board of directors. They helped to bring about the chaos in Egypt. I don’t trust them. Period.
Well, you certainly can if you want, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Abandon both of them and use Ixquick which doesn’t keep records of your searches.
