All we have to do is go back to legislating all other than fiscal business.
This doesn’t need the special quorum numbers.

Start with open carry and right to work.

Watch them scurry back like.. well, like rats.

No they need a quorum of 20 senators. They only have 19.

They only need that number for fiscal bills.

all other business - like Right to Work can be voted and passed into law. - its time right now.

yep, he would.

Our gov hasn’t been ‘discovered’ by the media yet - after all, where is Maine.

Fine with me. He can get a lot done under the radar ;o) -
I am SO thankful we finally have back the house and senate too - long time coming.

I would think the the number of seats is determined by population, and not the number of active senators, but I don’t know if a missing, dead, or incapacitated slot affects the quorum requirements.

"I say have the Republicans start passing every bill they want that doesn’t need a majority and see how fast they run back. Concealed carry rights done etc etc"

Passage of any bill requires a quorum, which is a fancy Latin way of saying they have enough in attendance for the session to be "legal."

How’s this idea.

Someone put in a bill stating that since the Democrat Senators have abandoned the state, their offices should be declared vacant and any personal property inside them should be sold at auction with the proceeds going to the state as part of efforts to pay down the deficit.

They only need a quorum on fiscal bills not any other bill.
