It is wild in Madison:
Thousands gathered outside of the state capitol this afternoon to support Gov. Scott Walker. Teachers and firefighters circled the tea party as it rallied. Gadsden flags clashed with union banners in the cold Wisconsin air. It was a beautiful sight loud, raucous, animated, and sweaty. Andrew Breitbart, Herman Cain, Brad Thor, Tim Phillips, and Joe the Plumber have addressed the crowd. The biggest chants: enough is enough! and recall them all!
Some signs spotted at the rally:
Stop leeching, start teaching!
Walker 2012″
Obama: Worry about your own deficit

Joe The Plumber has a long memory. Obama will probably live to rue the day.

So, do the schools get ADA (money for each child attending that day) for the students who were not able to attend because the teachers were ‘sick.’??????

Hey, a thought just occurred to me...
With all those teachers out on strike or protesting, and all of the other government workers lending their support, Wisconsin might be able to balance it’s budget if the governor would dock those government employees’ pay for the number of days they’ve been out protesting. Wouldn’t that amount to many millions of dollars when considering how much so many of those people are overpaid?

Love your tag line.
"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

Well, in fairness, teachers do have Saturday meetings and workshops they have to sometimes attend.

"Every teacher who missed school to abuse duly-elected officials for MONEY... should be fired."A rational and valid position to take. However, as you undoubtedly know, the school principals, superintendents, and school boards are all in the hip pocket of the education aristocrats so ain' gonna happen.
