Lock Ness monster version of England was seen and pictures were taken by Kayaking couple, Tom Pickles and Sarah Harrington on the waters of Lake Windermere, according to a a report by Brett Michael Dykes of The Upshot on Friday, February 18, 2011.
The afternoon sight of what is considered a primeval sea monster occurred on the foggy waters of Lake Windermere. The couple revealed that they saw something that appeared to to be an enormous snake swimming by the lake.
Lake Windermere has the reputation to be the territory of the British version of the Nessie-like serpent. There were already about eight sightings reported in the area since 1933. In 2006, a journalism professor and his wife reportedly saw a giant eel measuring about 15-20 feet long. The sightings of British version of the Loch Ness monster has prompted authorities to set a sonar equipment in the area.
Below is the statement provided by Tom Pickles that describes their experience at Lake Windermere.
It was petrifying and we paddled back to the shore straight away. At first I thought it was a dog and then saw it was much bigger and moving really quickly at about 10 mph. Each hump was moving in a rippling motion and it was swimming fast. Its skin was like a seals but its shape was completely abnormalits not like any animal Ive ever seen before.

No telling what those creatures are. The human race is still discovering new species of animal life.
Probably a Labour MP on holiday.
Some eels may occasionally live longer and grow much larger than suspected. They don’t come to surface very often in the day and they don’t grow large very often. This explains the entire enigma and why some lakes seem to get a monster that’s been observed over centuries, on occasion.
Finding a new lifeform in Windermere in England is as about likely as finding Bigfoot in Times Square.
Do they have sturgeon in England and Scotland?
If they do, that is my bet.
or some offshoot of the royal family
Where’s Helen Thomas?
Has Michelle been to Times square?
Think it might have been a large school of fish?
well, if it has a spine, that rules out a british politician.
Don;t rule out democrat Wisconsin state senators...
Pretty weird.
You made me spit out my rum!
My Great Grandfather caught a huge sturgeon in the Choctawhatchee River. When Daddy told me the story, I thought he had to have gotten confused over the weight.
I later saw that they actually get a whole lot larger than the one Great Grandpa caught.
