These fools never get it. So now they’re endorsing all the crap that’s been shot at them by the union mob. Don’t help your enemies. The union mob is their enemy.

The other side bought up all the Dems long ago—and they’ve been extending their collection within the GOP for years. The tide may have turned on that but they still own too many Republicans. It’ll take more than ‘12 or even ‘14 for us for us to purge them.

What motivates the garden variety RINO? A cheap allegiance to moral vanity and wish to be liked, as far as I can tell.
With that, they can rationalize nearly anything.

The biggest problem with compromise, especially in this particular case, is the message it sends.

It will show that infantile behavior and a willing disregard for the concepts of service and the (small ‘d’) democratic process is enough to serve the special desires of a minority of citizens who are willing to disrupt that process.

It’s anarchy, pure and simple. The people of Wisconsin voted to get their fiscal house in order and a minority have abrogated their part in that process. Caving in to that minority will have dangerous and far-reaching consequences.

Can someone tell me why the majority of other WI Republicans are not hammering this Sen Dale?
Saying, “hell no!”
How can one person basically call the shots when the majority of the party are against it? Doesn’t make sense?

Always... ALWAYS it’s the GOPers who show weakness first. The dems will see this and blow a hole through it.

RINOs:

“THIS act of concession will be THE give-in that makes hate-filled liberals be nice to us.”

Effing idiots.

Like Islamofascists, they respect only being thoroughly trounced. Anything less they ridicule.

Walker has to win this one or the tone of his tenure is going to be one of tantrum-ing dims and capitulating RINOS.

I don’t see why we can’t just “say” we will give in, and then once the Dems arrive, say oops we changed our mind and lock the doors.

Hold your horses, everyone.

I don't see any evidence of a compromise. I only see evidence to the contrary AND - media propaganda afoot. They are trying to distort reality. Everyone is holding fast. The media is doing whatever it can to keep the Dems from crumbling. The Gov and the GOP only have to waiting them out 30 days, then he should be able to declare their seats abandoned and take action. If I were the GOP, I'd walk in tomorrow and make Wisconsin a right-to-work state.

that would send a strong message right away.

“Moderate” Republicans always conceding when they would have otherwise won. The list of such is endless, and they are as fearful as the American people.

I live in Texas...a right-to-work state...and it’s the only sensible way to resolve the issue. They want “equality” of job opportunities? You truly get that in this kind of job climate. If you want to be in a union...fine. If you don’t? Well you still have a chance for the same job!

I just hope the governor hangs tough. He has drawn a line in the sand and the people of Wisconsin deserve for him to keep his resolve and promises for the good of everyone!...not just the whiny DIMs who think this is the way to solve everything.
