Brawl breaks out in Alabama State's cafeteria

A fight broke out on campus at Alabama State University Monday and now a full investigation by ASU's campus police department is underway.

The fight involved two groups inside a campus cafeteria.

There were no apparent serious injuries.

ASU Police are not releasing any specifics because they don't want to jeopardize the investigation.

Investigators did say the altercation involved only students.

The incident was captured on video, and was posted on You Tube.

sad but true. Historically black university in a town where the state’s legislators have set similar bad examples in the state legislature (brawling on the floor). Looks like all of them (students and representatives) either never learned any manner of public behavior or have discarded it (and probably any other moral standard) along the way...not acceptable behavior for anyone regardless of color. Embarrassing to those of us in Alabama who do not condone this ridiculous behavior.

Sigh...first the looney Bama fan who poisoned the trees at Auburn, now these street fighters at ASU. Add to that the terrorist who now resides in Africa who attended University of Mobile, and all the sad racial stuff that has gone on in this state. I don’t think we’ll ever get beyond our ugly past and poor reputation...
