Jim went to the VA hospital this afternoon for his scheduled checkup.
They admitted him. His remaining leg is not looking good. Three surgeons will confer tomorrow morning
on whether and when his right leg will be amputated.
When I talked to him this afternoon, he consented to me asking for prayers regarding this latest health issue.

Jim, I would hope there was something like diet or drugs that could help keep you from such an operation, but, if not, please accept the wise advice of your doctor.
Hang in there, know God will help you regardless of what happens, and realize you have an incredible number of people out here who deeply care about you.
