Since the very first days of this president's administration, the drug-fueled cartel violence in Mexico has provided a stalking horse for the gun-control agenda. Early on, both Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Attorney General Eric Holder cited Mexican violence as a reason to renew the Clinton gun ban of 1994. After those trial balloons were shot down, the ball was passed to Mexican President Felipe Calderon, who has repeatedly blamed American gun rights for Mexican violence.
More recently, the BATF cited cartel mayhem as justification for an attempt to mandate the reporting of all multiple long gun sales in border states. This regulation would force dealers to immediately report all purchases of more than one long gun if they are magazine fed and larger than .22 caliber effectively creating a registry.
But now, shocking revelations that grow bigger every day completely undercut the argument for additional restrictions. In fact, they illuminate bureaucratic arrogance, recklessness and hypocrisy of the highest order in the hallways of the Obama administration including the spreading stench of a massive cover-up.
As it turns out, BATF was already aware of efforts by shady characters to undertake mass gun purchases in border states because law-abiding gun dealers reported the attempted purchases voluntarily. But BATF agents acting on "orders from Washington" encouraged gun dealers to complete these transactions against the dealers' better judgment. Worse yet, the guns thousands of them were then allowed to be smuggled, or "walked," into Mexico and into the hands of drug cartels. And worst of all, these guns are now turning up at crime scenes including the murder of at least one U.S. federal agent.

Oh but President Obama supports the Second Amendment——about as much as the Beguiler in Chief supports any other part of our written Constitution.

We need to remove Holder, impeach Obama, and get rid of the whole rotten mess Obama has installed in our Government.
Allow me to clarify - That's not a government, its a gang of Chicago thugs.
Obama is a catstrophe on so many levels that its impossible to count them.
I hope we get an effective candidate to defeat him, one who holds our values - not a RINO like Chris Christie or Mitt Romney. They had their shot last time around and blew it with McCain.
Make this story boil over so the LSM cant ignore it any longer.

The way we do it in this country is to hold another election. That's coming in NOV of 2012 and the political brawl to assume command will commence this summer. To contemplate doing so in any other fashion reduces us to the level of banana republic or OPEC. In all of our history this nation has only attempted an impeachment twice. Once in 1868 with Andrew Johnston shortly after the end of the Civil War (aka the War of Northern Aggression) and then again in the era of Bill Clinton. That's all. This guy is awful but the country will survive him. But we weaken ourselves if we try to short circuit the process, because it really will lead to situations like Egypt and Libya. I say leave him in place so by the time the actual election rolls around his example will lead to the utter ruination of the Democratic Party and the LIBTARDS as a (sub) species.

Previously we have had peoples from all other countries who have come to America and assimilated.
Today we have hoards of people coming in with no intention of assimilating. I speak of the Hispanics from South America, the Muslims from the Mid East. To add to this we have Americans who hate our country for some reason. Liberal;s who think everything should be free, and entitlement seekers who agree.
We have a political environment where our so-called legislators are more interested in getting elected by pandering to these people than in what is good for our country.
These people are forming a coalition that we will soon not be able to defeat at the polls, We will have to seek other ways of getting our country back from them. They have to be stopped and stopped soon.
You have an opinion that we can survive Obama for the next two years, and perhaps we can, but can we survive him for another six(6)?
Already these people may be powerful enough to destroy America as we know it. I suppose we will have to wait and see.

If your screen-name is true then you took an oath to support and defend the Constitution; the Constitution says:
Art 1, Sec 2, last sentence — “The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.”
Art 1, Sec 3, last 2 paragraphs — “The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments. When sitting for that Purpose, they shall be on Oath or Affirmation. When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside: And no Person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two thirds of the Members present.”
“Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States: but the Party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment and Punishment, according to Law.”

Why do you advocate people suffering evil more than they have to? The Declaration of Independence was/is correct when it said:
“all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”
If the Constitution is not upheld, then I think it is evident that we need to throw off such government.

This could have been a great opportunity to get most or all of the drug thugs, by mounting a tiny GPS tracking device in each weapon and targeting accordingly.
In February 2008, when then candidate-Obammunist spoke to 14,000 gushing, fawning lickspittles at Taco Bell Arena here in Boise, the bussed-in throng hung on his every word, cheering with wild abandon. That is, until he uttered the words, "...and I'm not going to take your guns away." There was a little lukewarm response, but the relative silence was deafening. Even Idaho 'Rats, and those bussed in from Oregon and Nevada knew BS when they heard it.
I feel the need to mention that the only reason I was there is that I was a reporter at the time, and had been given than assignment. Well okay, I was also curious to see if the Obammunist was the boogeyman I'd been hearing he was. I left thinking he may very well be the Antichrist.
