Live thread: Wisconsin Supreme Court election - Prosser vs Kloppenburg

This election is important nationally too. If Kloppenburg is elected the Wisconsin mandate by the electorate in 2010 in this state will be negated by the WI Supreme Court and the unions will have won.

I live in a hardcore conservative area and discovered today that my Prosser yardsign was mutilated and thrown into one of my plantings.

Pray for Wisconsin and for Prosser's election!

As a Cheesehead, I am pretty sure there is no Wausau county. There is a Wausau though. Other poster might have meant Waukesha County.

So Milwaukee & Dane are all in?

That is not quite what they said, but they said those Wausau and Eau Claire precincts are what is left.

Take Madison out of the equation and Prosser wins by 80,000 votes. The rest of the state SUPPORTS Walker’s change. They should be outraged that the commies at the colleges stole their state!

Could be they’re doing the absentee count and integrating it in the total. I noticed earlier that the total updates in several counties didn’t track the updates for number of precincts.

That sounds like a positive note. With that I’m going to bed. G’night all.

Madison is clearly an issue, especially if that final precinct ends up with a ton of votes.

I got to get some sleep. I would watch Eau Claire County very carefully (40/61 precincts reporting). Their website had some BS about how the vote tally would be delayed due to heavy turnout — except they haven’t counted another precinct in an hour.

But even more concerning — their webpage has a link to a County Commission resolution denouncing Gov. Walker’s budget plan. We’re talking a very partisan county government waiting until the last minute to count votes. Right now Klop leads that county 9,524 to 6,343 with about 1/3rd of the vote outstanding. People here and the GOP people should keep a close eye on fraud there.

Oh and we are close enough to Texas to help form the new Republic if comes to that.

Bring Governor Walker along, please. We could use a new face around here.

What the hell’s up with Eau Claire? Too close to Mpls I reckon, otherwise I may have to take it out on Menards and Leinies.

Usually quite conservative, but maybe quite a few unionists. Probably more importantly, there is a rather large U of W campus, there.

Channel 12 in Milwaukee reporting that all votes counted in Milw Co incl absentee ballots. | Guess we can end those rumors.

I agree. Prosser winning is best but walkers mandate remains in tact regardless. Full steam ahead on the gop agenda. I wonder what returns were like in the recall districts.

If the Kommunist loses this, the Dems will have to hone their thievery skills even more for the recall elections.

That would only happen if Eu Claire County picks up more than 1200 extra votes for Kloppenburg. What’s the chance of that?

The spreadsheet predicts that there will be 1,700 extra Klop votes in Eu Claire. Don't know the variability around that.

How do we know what the remaining uncounted votes are in these 21 precincts. Precincts are not all equal in votes.

Your statements are true and are sources of uncertainty in my model. I just like to try to make a science out of everything.
