****The Republicans had better wake up to the reality that they need conservatives and the Tea Party more than those two groups need the Republicans.****

The Republicans had better realize that there will be nothing for any of us in America if they don’t listen to the Tea Party conservatives.

****I have a choice, and my choice is not to prop up people who cave. I’m tired of going to bat for them and having them fold on me.****

It is so hard to trust politicians, and even harder to trust those who hit all the right conservative notes. Trump may be a Reagan or a Perot...I don’t like having to find out after I have voted though.

Boehner “This is the best deal we could get out of them”

We know we lost based on that statement. Why isn’t Obama making that statement. Why is Boehner? Because Obama was prepared to play hardball, while Boehner was not.

I suggest we drop the congeniality and the 10 months a year working and go back to 2 months with commensurate pay and regular beatings. Its either that or Civil War.

I totally agree!

HA_HA, it all was joke. Not commenting on the ‘deal’ until I know more.

I see the natives are restless. “OHHH NOO a deal....impeach Republicans LOL”

More ‘deals’ ahead.

‘Its either that or Civil War.’

I have studied civil wars (see my homepage). It is not something to be bandied about without VERY serious consideration.

And what did Obama get for playing 'hardball'. He said in his statement that under different circumstances there would be NO cuts. Yeah, if Nancy Pelosi was running the House right now there would be NO cuts for certain. The 2012 budget is where we can go for the BIG cuts like defunding ObamaCare.

Call me stoopid, but I don’t understand why the Dems are so married to Planned Parenthood. It aborts their future voters.

Well, except the ones flooding across our southern border every day.

By then, they’ll convince their constituents that the Republicans ‘wanted to kill women’, after all that’s what Dem. Louise Slaughter said, right?

People believe what they want to believe - and anyone who wants to believe that is plain stupid. Hopefully, the outrageously stupid statements made by the Democrats will be enough to turn off voters and wake them up.

Um maybe Revolution would be a better description than civil war, have you studied those too?

The bawling boozer has no fire in his belly to fight and win. He would rather cave, and protect his turf. Damn Boehner and all who caved with him. Get rid of him, and all who follow him.

With out a doubt. Ya knew this would come with his elected ML. Do any of us real conservatives not know this scenario?

I don’t understand why you think the FY2012 budget will defund Obamacare, if this one didn’t. What is going to change?

If they won’t stand up and fight for this so called “drop in the bucket” battle, what the hell makes Yall think they will have the backbone to stand up and fight a war! Someone up thread actually said they were gonna call them on Monday! Call them!! OMG the insanity believing that the GOP is somehow gonna change this time. The nievity to believe making phone calls and sending emails are gonna work. I’ve said it before, forget the two parties!! They are done! There is no hope to be found in them! They are bought and paid for. We have to take our country back. We cannot continue to put our country, our money, in the hands of the GOP and expect them to do the right thing. We have to take responsibility for ourselves and stop handing it over to crooks and cowards!

I like what Marc Ambinder tweeted:

Boehner may have caved but Obama and Reid are now celebrating a budget they roundly trashed months ago.

It is a win for the GOP when the discussion is about HOW MUCH to cut, not whether to cut at all. Especially when they only control 1/3 of the gov't.

Only this time they'd better be willing to shut down the government. Because the Dems will dare them to.

Let's see...fight over 30 billion...lose anyway because the MSM covers for the left while they convince joe 6-pack that the GOP wants to kill grandma and all women...while the GOP gets up there and makes a "logical" argument...or compromise...getting more than half and making them vote on things they don't want to vote on (PP, etc).

Yeah...that's stupid. The GOP had begun to lose the PR battle on this one...and they knew it. And if you lose this PR battle over this little amount...they will kill you over the big battle. There is what you want...and what you can get. Live to fight another day.

A whole lot of you would have made really...really bad generals. But hey...at least you would have gone down on principle! I would rather win the war.

Yes. Do you prefer the French Revolution or the Russian Revolution? The American War of Independence was ‘a Revolution not made, but prevented’, since it was led by most of the leaders of the American Colonies.
