I’d like to know who Donald Trump has made the “deal with” to be a spokesperson for conservatives. He’s a lefty spouting right-wing talking points. He’s a wolf in sheepskin.

I have, unfortunately, heard his show because my father like him. And he has ridiculed people like me.

Did you pay attention to anything I said? Mark levin has NEVER criticized “birthers” (of which I am one). So quit lying about it.

Pull your head out of your orafice.

No, I am not joking. Rubio has not revealed whether his parents were US citizens at the time of his birth.

If either or both were not citizens at the time of his birth, he is not, and never will be a Natural Born Citizen, and never will be eligible for the office of US President (and by extension, Vice President), regardless where he was born. Neither is Jindal.

Natural Born Citizen

“(Dont get me wrong, I’m for Trump but he wont get past the primary)”

Why in the world would any reasonably intelligent conservative support this clown?

Amen! Levin’s whiney voice and 24/7/365 victim status get old ...

You must have been listening to someone else. Levin has never played the victim card that I can recall -- and I listen to his first hour nearly every day.

I stand corrected. I missed Mark saying that.

He has not spent much time on the issue whatsoever.

I can say, and I am a birther myself, who LOVES the issue being brought to the forefront, that it does matter, and I do resent the issue being downplayed.

However, if we champion Donald Trump as our candidate, out of desperation and on this one issue, we are making a deadly mistake. That is my only point. Trump is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Mark Levin is not attacking Trump over the birther issue. Get that straight. It’s way bigger than that.

I repeat: Trump’s own audio clips from Mark Levin show.

Devastating in my opinion, and I’m sad to say they were a real eye-opener to me. Decide for yourself. This is really, really not good.

http://legalinsurrection.blogspot.com/2011/04/sound-trumpet.html

Highlights:

In his own book, “America We Deserve”, Trump writes, “We must have universal healthcare. I’m a conservative on most issues but a liberal on this one. We should not hear so many stories of families ruined by healthcare expenses.”

Kiss your freedom goodbye.

He gave no support whatsoever to the Tea Party and attended not a single rally, but donated to their opponents: Schumer, Weiner, Harry Reid, etc.

Donald Trump says he adores Nancy Pelosi and can’t understand why she didn’t do more to impeach the “evil” (his word) George Bush for “lying” to get us into Iraq.

Donald Trump says he can’t understand why John Kerry didn’t win in 2004, since Bush was so “wrong” on the war.

Trump said that George Bush was the worst president ever, although now he has changed his story to say Obama and Carter were the worst.

Don’t be fooled by this guy.”

Remember when Freepers were drooling all over Scott Brown?

Scott Brown was a shot heard around the world and prevented the liberals from having a 60-seat fillibuster-proof Senate.

Some FReepers understood the political significance of this while others wanted to squander a huge opportunity by being purists.

I see the purists as equally naive as those who proclaimed Scott Brown as a potential POTUS nominee.

I’m not entirely in disagreement with Trump on this.

I spent some time in some other countries. During that time I happened once to end up in an accident for which I stopped by the local hospital.

I stopped by the hospital, and was effortlessly through with zero hassle and no fuss. Competently and quick.

I shudder to think that would happen here. Seriously our healthcare system pretty much sucks. You don’t really believe it’s great do you?

I understand the concern with government control, but that does not change the fact our healthcare system is a complete, expensive mess. I honestly don’t get the vigor with which, that mess is defended. Families are bankrupted by our system. It is broken.

Not that I agree with the approach taken by the left. I don’t. But it’s a mess.

Trump is right about that.

I spend a great deal of time in the healthcare system as a receiver. I have done so for decades on two coasts. Your statement is false.

What actual negative experience, besides having to wait in an emergency room or a doctor's office longer than you wanted to, have you had?

I’ve been fine with my own experiences, but I’ve seen myself indirectly, the financial devastation others have ended up being destroyed by.

Our medical system can demolish people.

That is a FACT.

Our medical system can demolish people.

The cost of any catastrophic event can demolish people. Catastrophic health events are no different. Now, I agree that costs are dissociated from the actual value of the services and if that's what you mean then maybe we agree. There should be a cash price for services set up that people can pay and medical providers should compete based on cost somehow within the boundaries of safe practice.

The point I was making involves the quality of care that people receive given the large population of the United States, the bizarre funding scheme we have and the fact that EVERYONE gets care who walks through the door (unless a provider intentionally breaks the law.)

If we can separate these two issues maybe we have some points of agreement.

BUt I cannot agree with a blanket assessment that our "medical system is broken." That is baloney.

Well ok.

Let’s just agree to disagree. Trump has a valid point.

Trump is the P.T. Barnum of the 21st century. When he ran the Miss America thing he realized that it was losing audience. He get it back in the news by selecting a degenerate as a judge. Now is not the time to attack him. He is serving our purposes because he sees the writing on the wall.

I read recently that Trump will run as an Independent if he does not win the nomination, He also voted for and loved B-HO he knows that third party is a Guarantee loser for Republicans, makes me think he is working with B-HO. Say what Republicans want to hear, get their support, run third party B-HO wins
