DING DING DING we have a winner!
With democrats, it’s all about race.
Reps. Jamilah Nasheed, Penny Hubbard, Michael Brown, & Jonas Hughes are all black.
And with the new redistricting Carnahan is the odd man out.

Gotta love it!
I think the union mentality is slowly giving way here. My wife’s employer was targeted recently, and the union lost. They couldn’t even get a quarter of the vote. Most were vehemently opposed to the union.
I think Air Claire is going to lose.
Hopefully this creates a “race war” amongst the democrats in Missouri...
...one that lasts for a few decades.
Wasn’t in front of Carnahan’s district where those scumbags from the SEIU beat up the Black conservative?
McCaskill doesn’t have a prayer for reelection.
When Democrats are in the minority, they should be deferred to because they're a minority.
When Democrats are in the marjority, they should be deferred to because they're a majority.
This is perfectly consistent. Don't you understand logic?
Man that Nixon guy is powerful. Vetoing bills 17 years after he died! ;)
Hope you are right. But Missouri Republicans can self-destruct sometimes. Recall Steelman/Holshuf...
Low volume ping list
FReepmail me to be on, or off, this list.
Yes, Ken Gladney. At one of Rusty’s townhall meetings.
Claire is finished in 2012.
I'd like to see the old versus the new district maps. But it sounds to me that the new map is more fair on this point alone. Why should a corrupt RAT infested city which is losing population be able to dominate two congressional districts when its population will easily fit into one?
Powder..patch..ball FIRE!
Absolutely the end of Russ C. He might as well plan on going home to the farm.
Under the proposal, the city of St. Louis, with roughly 320,000 residents, would be placed entirely in the 1st Congressional District, represented by Rep. William Lacy Clay, D-St. Louis. To come up with the required 748,816 people, that district also would include about 430,000 residents of north St. Louis County.
The 2nd Congressional District, represented by Rep. Todd Akin, R-Town and Country, would take in the rest of St. Louis County plus about 150,000 people in the southern part of St. Charles County and about 20,000 people near the St. Louis County line in Jefferson County.
St. Louis Democrat Carnahan, whose 3rd Congressional District currently runs from St. Louis south to Ste. Genevieve County, would see his district’s number assigned to a new east-central Missouri district.
Missouri is one of several states that will lose a representative in Congress as the result of the reapportionment process that took place after the 2010 U.S. Census. Things dont look so good for Missouri democrats.
Ozarks First released a first look at the proposed redistricting in Missouri.
A map submitted for consideration of the House Redistricting Committee by its chair, Rep. John Diehl, R-Town and Country, shows the congressional district currently represented by Congressman Russ Carnahan, D-St. Louis, absorbed by the three congressional districts that currently border it
The map also shifts northwest Missouri congressman Sam Graves district to include almost every county north of the Missouri River from the western border of the state to the eastern border.
Another significant shift appears to have been made in mid-Missouri where the city of Columbia and Boone County, traditional Democratic strongholds, have been shifted out of the district represented by current Ninth District Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer and placed into the district of freshman U.S. Rep. Vicky Hartzler, R-Harrisonville.
Heres a look at the current map:
And heres the proposed map with the 8 seats that are left after redistricting.
Carnahans seat will be absorbed into neighboring districts. Pelosis poodle will likely find himself back in the private sector looking for employment.
Oh well, theres always his brothers wind farm. Its a good thing brother Tom Carnahan was awarded $107 million in stimulus money for his wind farm project in Missouri. Certainly they can find a place for him somewhere after that $100 million gift.

McCaskill is next to get fired. Bank on it. The stains on her skirt from the plane/no tax payment fiascoes and being a Obaclone mean she will be gone during the next election.
St. Louis doesn’t have near the active union membership that it did 30 years ago, and now with redistricting done Lacy Clay will suck up all of the atmosphere in STL.
Midwesterners are so polite compared to this part of the country. I'm in the Pennsylvania 18th district. Take a look at our boundries if you want to see weird.
