Here’s an idea:

Backman, obviously, will not take Amy up on the challenge. Amy has nothing to lose, and Bachmann has a lot to lose, not in the debate, but in stature, even if she could wipe the floor with Amy and her handlers.

Now, I’m pretty sure that there are plenty of FReepers who think like Bachman, so, why not one of us take up Amy’s challenge in place of Bachmann? If Amy feels so strong about her knowledge of the constitution, there are plenty of us here who also feel strongly about the constitution and it’s interpretation and how it’s been getting destroyed by the left for over 100 years.

So, any brave people in here up to the challenge? I’m not a constitutional scholar and I’m not an attorney either. But, I’m pretty sure that we do have people who believe like Bachmann and who also have good knowledge on the constitution. So, let’s see if we can put Amy and her “teachers” and handlers in their place.

I can see the debate now,

Bachmann: ...... Freedom ... Personal Responsibility....

Baby Doll: ....But..But....The general welfare clause......but.....Lady you don’t know jack....The general welfare clause.....George Washington was a Satanist just like me.....How can you say this country was based on God?

1) Bachmann is known for inaccuracies in her understanding of history.

That's a problem for a lot of GOPers these days. I'm pretty sure this girl would not have issued the same challenge to Ron Paul. :)

three observations:
1. Cherry Hill, NJ - isn’t she special
2. One thing to be able to pass a test on the Constitution, another to respect it.
3. I’m sure this will be one of many items on her ever-so-special college resume. Pity is that this will impress the bozos in admittance offices more than academic achievement.

"Bachmann is known for inaccuracies in her understanding of history."

Because she mixed up Concord NH with Concord Mass? Give me a break.

I don't remember the same tone in the media when Joe the Plumber engaged 0bama in a debate.

Probably a public school mind full of mush. Might be more fun for her to debate a home schooled conservative in her area.

Little dumbass wants to debate the constitution based on what SHE’S been taught by a school full of Marxist asswipes. She’d likely win ONLY because few know what the constitution is all about in the 1st place. Twirp will make up facts, stats and figures and win based on “cuteness” and age.

The fair thing to do would be for this high school’er and a Congress critter of her choice to challenge Congresswoman Bachman and a high school’er of her choice to a debate.

To make this manageable, it should be the high schooler’s representative in Congress if a Democrat, and a high school’er from Michelle’s district of her choice

If the New Jersey high school’er doesn’t have a Democrat for a Congressman, or the Congressman declines to participate, then the New Jersey high school’er can pick another Congressman from New Jersey, who is a Democrat, and in which case Michelle can pick a high school student from anywhere in the state of Minnesota.

That such a fair and actually traditional approach to debating (student-faculty member teams opposing each other, and student-politican teams opposing each other) is not proposed only shows that what is proposed is nothing but a political dirty trick.

It’s funny how a kid from Jersey goes out of her way to challenge a congresswoman from Minn. yet never says a word about a deceitful US Pres. or two lying democRAT Senators from her own state.

Michele Bachmann would be crazy to accept such a challenge....no way to win...no matter what happens the cute little girl wins for having the hudspa to challenge a sitting Rep. Any mispoken error would be the only thing to be reported.

The Minnesota Independent? They sound very independent. They have this under breaking news? So if a high schooler in Wisconsin would want to challenge Al Franken to a debate, the paper would publish it on the front page? These fools wonder why more and more people get their news off of Free Republic and other internet sources. This is not just biased, it is pathetic.
