West is NOT running...........got that?

Trying to beat Obama with a black candidate is stupid beyond words!

There is "thinking outside of the box" and utter stupidity; sometimes they are the same thing.

Why not Cain?

Yes, the Bushes have chosen Daniels, but if the Tea Party can bulldoze the House, why again can’t they doze the WH?

Sarah would pile all up behind Cain. Everybody else would fall into place.

2012 is a deathmatch. She wins and we can roll back the last twenty yrs of this bs. She loses and insurrection starts. We can’t send in the second string anymore.

Wow. You nailed it. Thing happen very swiftly when they happen. We are living on the edge. A Palin win would draw us back from the precipice. A Pawlenty/Romney/Republicanasusual reach-across-the-aisle moderate may well win, but would create greater loss in the long run. We thought Clinton was bad, then came Obama. Replace Obama with another Bush, and guess what follows? Someone who makes Obama look like Clinton.

In other words, a loss would happen either way if a republicanasusual candidate won or if Obama won -- or whatever other liberal idiot gets nominated, as we really have no idea who the Dem nominee is going to be.

We lose either way. This primary is crucial.

Look, I grew up in a politically active and aware family. I have literally spent my entire life immersed in this stuff.

Have I ever been wrong? You betcha, but not often.

I calls 'em as I sees 'em.

There is a long list of these people. Brent Bozell entered it. 1-money 2-not serious 3-cheerleader 4-take care of family. She should put on a cheerleader outfit and say is this what you want, But them Tucker would send out a sexist tweet.

Suggesting that Palin might not be the Messiah is blasphemy around here.

That's not really fair. I don't see most Palin supporters (including myself) demonizing reasoned arguments why she might not be the best candidate. People just disagree and wish to make their point. The media detest Palin and have attempted to destroy her, and it is frustrating to see folks buying the MSM's "she's not electable" spin. It is normal for very prominent politicians who have gone through the media ringer to have high negatives at the outset. Once they are in the race and are running as a presidential candidate those negatives tend to come way down.

I certainly don't consider you an enemy for disagreeing and I think Steyn is great, I just think your both wrong. I think most Palin supporters here and elsewhere would see it the same way.

Would vote for her in an instant, but would also have doubts that she would have a chance this time around... Our lovely MSM would prevent that. <<

Geez!...with that attitude...Why don't u just ask the MSM who they want YOU to vote for.....Ridiculous....U hand-wringers amaze me!

Thanks for proving my point and we are NOT alone!

I'm guess that like me, you'd do EVERYTHING possible to get her elected, should she be the candidate, but is she doesn't run................................we're not interested in what she has to say, nor in the pygmies. And you're so right about TPaw!

BARBRA STRIESAND!

The majority of Palin's supporters will NOT just fall in line and back Cain, should she not run and throw her arms around Herman, which I doubt she'd do, in any event.

And frankly, Cain sounds okay, but there's too much not there, for him. Obama would murder him.

You just imagine that you can see reality, but don't.

If you did and understood it, you wouldn't believe as you do.

BS yourself! (and I mean that in the nicest way)

Cain is more Palin than Palin is!

I love Sarah, but Herman is the only hope I feel right now.

It be worth seeing Sarah run just to see the libs foam at the mouth before their heads exploded. If she won maybe a lot of them would leave the country. We would get rid of our illegal aliens and and some of our libs at the same time!

More to the point - He hasn't said no - has said it would be up to his wife - who wasn't on board with it last year. (that was last year.)

There is quite a following and move for drafting him. He is also on TV constantly, quite unusual for a freshman congressman. But he makes headlines because he backs down to no one and he has a thorough grasp on who our enemies are 'foreign AND domestic.' He knows and will defend the Constitution; he knows and will fight the mooslimes; He doesn't speak in PC; He will defend Israel in the strongest terms - and they love and respect him.

After he was a guest there a year or so ago, the people's assessment of him was "We wish he could run for our Prime Minister"; (He just received "the "Defender of Israel" Award, the Lion of Judah - in his district in Florida"

His wife on him immediate left.

West is not some guy who woke up one morning and decided "I think I'll run for office" having done next to nothing else in his life.

He's a born AND an experienced leader. We desperately need such a leader.

'Experienced politician' is what we've had too much of. Wheeling, dealing, compromising, bending over backwards not to offend anyone - Washington is full of them. We need a LEADER.

Another indication that he'd make a strong candidate: The libRats are now deliberately targeting him with Union and other Socialist thugs, disrupting his town halls. THEY see him as a threat.

Please don’t become so close minded that you fail to see other views. Seldom are things so clear that all agree.

WHEN PIGS FLY AND HELL FREEZES OVER, IS CAIN MORE PALIN THAN PALIN!

Herman has NEVER won an election. He has NO, absolutely NO political background, or backing and if you don't think that that is important, then you aren't as informed as you might believe you are.

Add to that, we have NO idea what lurks in Herman's closet. He has run exactly one race and lost it and it was a primary race. We don't know if he can take it. And the coup de grace, like it or not, is his race; which will be used against him, should the impossible happen and he is the GOP candidate.

If Cain is your "only" hope, then you better prepare for utter and complete desolation.
