You Dream of a Quiet Life |
It's likely that your life has a little too much chaos, drama, and even stress going on. You'd give anything for a little peace and calm. It's too loud both inside and outside your head.
You would love to just let go and relax. You'd like to forget all your troubles. You don't think there's such a thing as too much quiet. You've had enough excitement to last a lifetime. |

We Shall Be Changed
May 18, 2011
Being afflicted with early-onset Alzheimers disease, Thomas DeBaggio chronicled his gradual memory loss in the book Losing My Mind. This book records the disturbing process by whichlittle by littletasks, places, and people are all forgotten.
Alzheimers disease involves the failure of nerve cells in the brain, leading to gradual memory loss, confusion, and disorientation. It can be tragic to watch a previously mentally alert person slowly forget how to dress or fail to recognize the faces of loved ones. Its like losing the person before he dies.
Memory loss can occur by other means as well, such as injury or life trauma. And for those of us who live into old age, the breakdown of our bodies is inevitable.
But for the Christian, there is hope. When believers receive their glorified bodies at the resurrection, they will be perfect (2 Cor. 5:1-5). But even more important, in heaven we will recognize the One who died to redeem us. We will remember what He did and know Him by the nail prints in His hands (John 20:25; 1 Cor. 13:12).
Forgetfulness may beset our earthly bodies, but when we see the Lord, We shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is (1 John 3:2).
Our Saviors life for us was given
That we might one day bloom in heaven,
Our mortal bodies changed to be
Like His through all eternity! Spicer
In the twinkling of an eye . . . we shall all be changed.
The Apostle Paul
Read: 2 Corinthians 4:165:8
We shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
1 John 3:2

Our newspaper this morning has an article about a local Marine, LCOL Benjamin Palmer, who was killed in Afghanistan. Details were not available at press time.
Thirty-one members of the Armed Forces from the valley and foothills (our region) have been killed since 2003.
Salute, LCOL Palmer........two

Good evening, AZ...*HUGS*
A good day for you? A safe commute? No critters?
Yesterday there were 2 yearling moose right next to the road. Thankfully, EVERYONE really slowed done. Even if one had stepped into the road, I don’t think much damage would have occurred. Good drivers for a change.

Rest in Peace, LCol Benjamin J. Palmer, USMC and Semper Fi!
Thanks for the info, Dave - I'm behind on posting tributes to the Fallen. I've been preoccupied with my daughter's graduation the last few days. Will catch up as able.

You Dream of a Luxurious Life |
It's likely that you need a little more pampering and indulgence in your life. You need to be taken care of. You'd love a day of luxury - where time and price didn't matter. You'd like to soak in some comfort.
You work hard, and you want to reward yourself with some treats. Life is too short to be too stingy. You have good taste. You can't help it if you like nice things! |

You Dream of a Full Life |
It's likely that you want more from your life right now. You have lots of big ideas! You'd like to be doing more of everything. You want to have an amazing homelife, garden, livestock, great friends, a family, and enough time to do what you want.
Some people may say you want it all, and they're right. And you're dead set on getting it. As soon as you win the lottery. You crave a life that's brimming with friends, family, goodtimes, peace and excitement. You don't want to waste a single moment. |
To: SandRat
Good evening, Sandy! Great to see you back - hope your recovery is proceeding apace!
