Sorry, Your GUN RIGHTS are just TOO EXPENSIVE to Guarantee, but your food stamps aren’t!

For decades, liberals have worked tirelessly to restrict or rescind the right to keep and bear arms. And supporters of 2nd amendment rights have heard every excuse the left has ever advanced to achieve its ends. But the good people at the Wisconsin based Lacrosse Tribune have come up with something new...

Madison Wisconsin has always considered itself a beacon of enlightened Marxist thought in the barren, Midwestern waste land of family oriented,...

So the sudden sweep to power of a Republican state legislature, coupled with the victory of a conservative Governor had to be a massive, systemic shock to the urbane sensibilities of the Pravda-reading, latte-sipping ruling class.

Now it appears the previously unthinkable has happened. Wisconsin’s State government actually intends to provide residents of the state with access to their rights!

For years, only the states of Wisconsin and Illinois had deprived the people of the right to carry a concealed weapon. But there are currently 3 separate bills working their way through the legislature and the passage of any one would leave Illinois the sole holder of that despicable distinction.

Unfortunately, editorial writers at the Lacrosse Tribune have decided the grant of an inalienable right to commoners is too radical a departure from the Madison way.

“Why do the leaders of our state insist on making it more difficult to vote while making it easier to carry a weapon,” they lament, as lawmakers consider requiring photo ID at the polls. As usual, the left favors voter fraud to self defense.

“We have long questioned the wisdom of making it easier to carry a concealed weapon in a state with a drinking problem,”

“my favorite [excuse was ] ,”…how can we afford to hire additional staff to process applications for concealed carry?”

I’ve always thought of Madison Wisconsin as one of those spots leftover from the Third Reich - deep into fascism and in everybody’s face about things that should be private business.

They are right, let’s put voting and gun rights on an even keel. Force would be voters to fill out a 4473 style form for submission for a NICS background check before they vote EACH TIME!

After all, if it’s good enough for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, it’s good enough for the Right to Vote.

“We have long questioned the wisdom of making it easier to carry a concealed weapon in a state with a drinking problem,”

so does the state need to go to AA meetings?

“my favorite [excuse was ] ,”…how can we afford to hire additional staff to process applications for concealed carry?”

That’s easy. Just end the applications requirement for concealed carry.

Marxism is different than National Socialism. It’s also bad enough on it’s own that it does not need to be confused with fascism/national-socialism.

Once they have their rights restored, they will not want to give them up. The gun issue will bring alot of the working class over to the GOP on election day.

“We have long questioned the wisdom of making it easier to carry a concealed weapon in a state with a drinking problem,”

I suspect that the "drinking problem" exists in order to obliterate the cognitive dissonance of leftist politics.

“Let every Politician know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival our constitution and the success of liberty.”

Yes, I stole a few words from President Kennedy and added a couple of my own.

Don’t Tread On Me are not “just words”. They have meaning and for some... very serious meaning.

Bingo!

And, further, since voting is in aggregate arguably more dangerous than firearms, anyone precluded by law from owning firearms shall not be allowed to vote.

I like this!

Instead of “motor-voter” where they automatically sign you up to vote, they could have a “trigger-voter” where you automatically get signed up for a CCW.

If cost is truly an issue, “Constitutional Carry” costs the State nothing.

Hand on the that.

While we all know that kind of stuff goes on, the picture is worth a thousand words, deserving of it’s own thread, and also worth Glenn Becks attention.

National Socialism, Communism, et al are IDEOLOGIES. When you examine things a bit more carefully you find that they all use "fascist" techniques and methods.

Along the way I think folks confounded "Fascism" with "ideology", but outside of Mussolini baring his chest, and crowds cheering, there wasn't all that much to it ~ but he did get the trains moving on time (through the simple expedient of setting up a doable schedule, and then threatening the people running the trains with death unless they met it. The restarted the entire railroad system in fact. Everybody started out at the head of the appropriate line. It worked.
