Restore the Good in America

Link to Video

Our nation is at a critical turning point. As we look to the future, we are propelled by America's past. It's imperative that we connect with our founders, our patriots, our challenges and victories to clearly see our way forward. A good way to do this is to appreciate the significance of our nation's historic sites, patriotic events and diverse cultures, which we'll do in the coming weeks on our "One Nation" tour.   We'll celebrate the good things that bring Americans together; those things that will give us the needed strength to meet the heady challenges ahead. I’ve said many times that America doesn’t need a "fundamental transformation," instead we need a restoration of all that is good and strong and free in America! So, together let’s prepare ourselves for the days ahead by reminding ourselves who we are and what Americans stand for.   We'll celebrate the meaning of our nation's blueprints, our Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, which are the threads that weave our past into the fabric necessary for the survival of American exceptionalism. Our founders declared "we were born the heirs of freedom," and despite our difficulties and disagreements, we remain one nation under God in freedom, indivisible. Through visits to historical sites and patriotic events, we'll share the importance of America's foundation.   We encourage you to support the pro-America events we'll be privileged to participate in during these coming weeks. Discover the ties that bind Americans, our history, our traditions, and the exceptional nature of our country!

I wonder how it’s going to work out this time?

I guess it's a ZOT this time, Unique.

To be added or removed from the VK/ZOT ping list, FReepmail Darkwing104.

You know, it’s ironic that Jim Rob and a lot of posters here have wrapped their arms around Palin, same as McCain in 2007. Hmmmmmmm, I wonder how it’s going to work out this time?

Most of us held our noses and voted for McLame. This time should work out better since

A - We won't let the eneMedia choose our candidate (God, please let it be so!)

B - We won't let the GOP force a RINO on us (See above)

C - Conservatives are savy concerning the left's election fraud and angry enough to do something about it.

The “heehaw express” or “flyover” people are the bedrock of this country. They’re the ones who explored it, built it, maintain it, feed it and defend it. So sorry that her love for them and their return of it disgust you.

Sorry don’t like her, she plays to the low IQ crowd even though I do think she is smart.

The problem is she is genuine and not trying to play a role. I understand why you find that disturbing because we're not used to seeing politicians behave this way.

Many here consider this "a breath of fresh air."

You've been here a little over a month. What brought you to FR?

Nation is in danger. The biggest danger? The lack of whole families in the next generations. A nation of bastards, we are already there.

The solutions are very easy to say, but very difficult to implement because almost certainly they will be resisted.

The parts of a solution.

(1) Young single moms must be assertively coerced to marry. That can be done by outlawing bastardy, and applying criminal penalties, but that will be unlikely to work well. Another way is to remove the rewards of single motherhood, and instead penalize it. Provide a dowry to women who marry, and pay bonuses each year for those married couples with children under 18.

(2) Eliminate the divorce lobby by starving it of sustenance. Ban child support payments, but jail men who’d father children with women they are not married to. Give custody to men by default.

(3) Enact and strongly enforce adultery laws. Sex in marriage, good. Sex outside of marriage — deadly to society.

If we do not not take aggressive measures in this matter, the nation will self-destruct in under twenty years.

I will vote for her if I have to - that is the most positive thing I can say about mrs Palin and her heehaw express

Condescension is so unbecoming on a body.

Lots of inaccurate stereotypes in there.

I have a collection of Air Force patches. One of my favorites features an F-15 and the slogan (in Cajun French) “Death by coon-ass Eagle pilot.”

Sarah speaks straight and strong. She speaks clearly. As one who has been placed in the top 2% of the population by the nice folks in Princeton and the nice folks at Mensa 38 years ago, I do not see her playing “to the low IQ crowd.” I find she speaks quite well to those blessed with intelligence but if she was speaking to a group of people who happened to be challenged in mental capacity or otherwise, she would leave them smiling and they would remember her with warm regard.

♫ REDNECK WOMAN ♫ - GRETCHEN WILSON

Hell yes!

I just get over the top about Palin sometimes
btw I AM a conservative just would prefer someone else, I gave Palin a bunch of chances - even tried reading her book but the reality tv stuff (hers and her daughters ‘dancing’ schtick) is just too over the top tacky, that is what blew it for me.
she IS smart - she knows how to make $ that is for sure
can’t support her but will vote for her
I do enjoy this website and once again apologize thanks

I would think after your post 51, and my reply to you, that you would have simply let it go. Us Tea Party patriot redneck wimmin and rednecks don't take kindly to being called part of the *low IQ crowd & hee-haw express*.

Now YEE-HAW is a whole different matter.

You haven't been here very long, so your posts were easy to track. I read where you've complained about her voice as a reason for not liking her, and also read that you called her an albatross.

It's not a membership requirement to support her, but given that you said you like this website, I recommend that you keep your opinions about Sarah Palin's supporters to yourself.

“Death by coon-ass Eagle pilot.”

Thank goodness it was just a slogan, wouldn't want to see a graphic rendering of that on the nose of the bird!

...that is the most positive thing I can say about mrs Palin and her heehaw express.

I have no problem with people having a debate on the GOP candidates on issues and past performances. I have a real problem with Palin pushing Americas most dangerous Senator, McLame, in '10. But going after her bus tour as the "Hee Haw Express" is BS. The media tags our candidates with condescending labels. Why the hell should we do it to ourselves?

There is nothing about this tour that doesn't jive with the beliefs and ideals of any real Conservative. Plus, I never minded watching Hee Haw as a kid. The chicks were hot and Buck Owens and Roy Clark were very good musicians. So why use that as a slur?

Note Conservative actor Ernest Borgnine in the audience.

I’m concerned with her speech. She’s having trouble talking and that’s not good for a retail manager.

Check out the sign-up-date -- March 2011.

SNIFF.

Sorry don’t like her, she plays to the low IQ crowd even though I do think she is smart.

And who are your paramours paragons -- Al Gore who got a "D" in "Natural Science" from Harvard, and who said on tape that the Earth's crust is "millions of degrees" and wrote that "the internal combustion engine is a greater threat to the survival of mankind than nuclear weapons" ?

John F'in Kerry (gigolo-MA) whose grades at Yale were worse than George W. Bush's grades?

Georgia Congressman Hank Johnson who feared that the island of Guam would capsize?

Dem. Major Owens who said that the sharks were *still* circling the routes taken by the slave ships, waiting for more slaves to be cast overboard so they could eat them?

What's your IQ, troll-boy?

And can you prove it?

Cheers!
