No, it's not JUST the economy, the overall most important issue is "It's the Constitution Stupid!" "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." --October 11, 1798 John Adams

Most of the problems that the government is trying to “fix” are caused by the moral decay of America. Social issues SHOULD be important to government.

For example, why would I care if somebody wants to smoke a joint of marijuana within the privacy of their own home? Or why would I care if somebody wants to gamble their own money away on the internet? It doesnt affect me in any wayThe very fact that you don't know why is your own answer.

Jeeze, what crawled up your butt? You want someone to promote the ideas you think are most important? How does the old phrase go? Oh yea: What are you, a Democrat? Do it yourself. You don’t think that enough fiscal conservatism is pushed versus social, then push it, don’t whine others aren’t pushing it the way you want.

John Adams, as great a man and patriot as he was, was wrong about that statement of his personal opinion. The framers of the Constitution put together a document that would accomodate and allow all religious beliefs or none at all. The Constitution contains some religious references but IS NOT a religious document nor should it be. It was written to govern a collection of peoples who had a wide variety of religious, social, and political views. Their efforts resulted in a unique and timeless document that was not meant to be “interpreted” on any religious or political basis, which is where things have gone astray over the last century. Interpretation by courts is SUPPOSED to be on the basis of whether or not an issue or law is strictly covered by the Constitution and legal under the Constitutional Articles or is given to the states for action. John Adams had no part in the framing of the Constitution and it was not made only for somebody’s definition of a “moral and religious people”; it was made for all of the people. That is why bringing the Republic back to its Constitutional roots is the first and formost consideration.

You dont think that enough fiscal conservatism is pushed versus social, then push it, dont whine others arent pushing it the way you want. I've never understood how anyone could be a social liberal and fiscal conservative, or vice versa. The two "conservatisms" just belong together and we conservatives should push conservatism from every angle and push hard.

I call them pogo-stick Conservatives. A solid Conservative foundation has three legs, social, economic, and defense. Without all three, you just tip over. With just one, you are barely balancing.

By the way, you seem to have a reading comprehension problem. The mission statement on the first pages links to
this article which goes into limited government and fiscal Conservatism all over the place. Let me guess, you just wanted to mouth off and get zotted so you can claim to be a martyr for five minutes of fame on some anti-FR site?
