Funerals are never happy occasions, but the one I attended today was among the saddest. My cousin Amber's husband died suddenly this past week, apparently from an aneurysm. He collapsed in the midst of a conversation with a co-worker and died immediately. He was fifty-three. He leaves behind Amber and their two children, ages three and five.
Amber is strong, and has emotional support from family and friends, but it will be difficult for her to recover from this tragic loss and raise two small children alone. Please pray for her and her children.

Nothing anyone can say or do will change your pain. I just lost my soul mate of 23 years this past March.
I wish I could give you better news, it sucks. It will never get better. Sorry, but that is the reality if you were really in love.

Dear Heavenly Father, please comfort Amber and her children. May she feel your embrace and presence. May she be filled with courage and conviction to raise her children even though she is broken hearted. In this, I pray. Amen.

Please Father, heal Amber’s broken heart, the pain in the children’s soul as to why their father was suddenly taken away. OH FATHER, please bring deep breaths and calm reassurance to this family that is so very pained. So broken, so in despair.
Father, You alone can bring them that peace, and I ask that you do in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

This happened to my youngest sister when her two children were the same ages. She and the children are okay and I pray the same for Amber and her children.
This is a sad story. Prayers for your cousin Amber.
