NEW YORK (AP) - President Barack Obama is praising New York lawmakers who are debating historic legislation to legalize gay marriage. The president says that's what democracies are supposed to do, and that marriage has traditionally been decided by the states. Obama also said he believes that gay couples deserve the same legal rights as every other couple in this country.

A couple of US government - yes, OUR government - proclamations shoving the entire anti-Nature homosexual agenda at as at 90 miles an hour. A President of the United States of America - an anal sodomy fan! A sex perversion promoter (and of course practicer but he's not saying that publically). The world has gone mad - those pushing Evil and calling it Good will not stop until they are stopped. The kicking and screaming will not be long, now. We should not despair, we should each do whatever it is we can do - large or small. Everything is noted. Nothing good goes in vain.

"Gay" - what he really means is "sicko sex perverts deserve to be treated like a normal man and wife". Also "every other couple"? "Couple" means two - okay, how about brother and sister? Father and daughter? Father and son? Man and dog? It's insane.

Gays already have the same rights. There are no laws preventing them from marrying. A gay man has the same right to marry a woman as anyone else; a lesbian has the same right to marry a man as anyone else. The union of a man and a man or of a woman and a woman is not a marriage, it is sodomy.
In 2008 he wasn't desperate to take the focus off his abysmal record of epic failure. His numbers are so low even the nutroots are heckling him, so he needs to throw the moonbat base some red meat. The rest of the libs are in a big push for this for the same reason. It's all about taking everyone's eye off the economy.

I agree. It’s not like the government goes out and grabs some young woman to guarantee that I have a wife, right? Plenty of people go unmarried too, so how is it a right, when it’s neither the government’s job to guarantee that I get married, or to force a person of my choosing to get married as well?
