June 27, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Even when confronted with the deaths of 160 million children in the womb simply because they were girls, the father of the modern population control movement doesn’t bat an eyelash.
The problem of sex-selective abortion has been receiving increased scrutiny in the media recently, following the release of Maria Hvistendahl’s book “Unnatural Selection,” which was reviewed last week in the Wall Street Journal.
In that book the author documents the devastation wrought by widespread female gendercide in countries that favor sons over daughters. She also records a discussion about prenatal gendercide with Paul Ehrlich, the author of the 1977 book “The Population Bomb,” a seminal work in the modern population control movement.
In “The Population Bomb,” Ehrlich had mentioned sex selection as a potentially effective tool for reducing population, although effective prenatal gender determinators such as ultrasound had not yet been invented.
When recently confronted with his support for sex-selective abortion by Hvistendahl, Ehrlich reportedly expressed his continued support for the practice. Ehlich told Hvistendahl, “it would be a good idea to let people have their choice so that they could have fewer children and could have what they wanted.”
“You can be aborted as a conceptus, you can be killed at birth, or you can be sold into slavery and die in a slum someplace,” he said.
Hvistendahl writes that after she pointed out that the prenatal killing of girls has forced surviving women into even greater suffering, brought about by higher rates of kidnapping, sex trafficking and marriage brokering, Ehrlich agreed but dismissed the statistics as “the old unintended consequences problem.”
Ehrlich also defended the principle behind mass forced sterilization, a concept mentioned in a 1977 book he co-authored entitled “Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment,” but dismissed as impracticable.
While Ehrlich says critics have taken much of that book out of context, he told Hvistendahl that the idea of reversing fertility - that is, requiring potential parents to petition the government for permission to override the sterilant - would “solve a lot of the things that disturb people the most.” He also suggested that mass sterilization working in tandem with sex-selection technology would be particularly effective for population control interests.
Notably, the 1977 text was co-authored by the head of President Obama’s Office of Science and Technology Policy, John Holdren, who has faced widespread criticism for the pro-population control content found in the text.
I am certain that only God’s intervention will take care of the massive tsunami of evil that is swelling hugely, just like a water tsunami when it approaches shore.

Not even the utmost prayer and fasting will 100% PREVENT it though such could prevent some parts, aspects in some regions and some degrees of severity of it.
Most likely one of the reasons . . .
though the elites are purportedly required to engage in homosexual activity as part of their initiation into the ruling elite . . . and to engage in such at their annual . . . festivities.
Now to be fair not everyone near the top agrees or promotes the policy below. However the policy was produced in a Republican administration and was never rescinded during all the years of Reagan, Bush I, and Bush II...

Yup, and I advanced the idea they were closet Pro-Aborts.

The fact that it is common for plenty of Hollywood actors to play homosexual character roles in their early films certainly plays to that tune.

I think that might certainly be a component of it, but I believe the main reason is that they want to repudiate six thousand years of Judeo-Christian culture.
These people aren't just abandoning Judeo-Christian teachings, they actively seek to do those things that will be most offensive to believers, things like Crucifixes in urine and burning Bibles, the worldwide slaughter of ONE MILLION BABIES A WEEK, homosexuality, etc.
Honestly, how anybody can deny tie existence of the devil at this juncture is beyond me. He is out to kill, steal, and destroy, and is the father of lies.
He hates God, knows his end, and is bound and determined to take as many of us with him as possible.
And it looks like he’s succeeding.

As we both know, there are numerous beliefs as to the Tribulation and Apocalypse. The various beliefs disagree on a lot of details and times, but they all agree that things are going to be REALLY, REALLY BAD - far worse than anything we can even imagine. However, I personally hold to the belief that none of us know exactly when these events will begin.
I love medieval Western European history and one of the most fascinating periods for me is the 14th and early 15th centuries. The Crusades had pretty much turned into a disaster and the Muslims controlled the Holy Land. The Hundred Years War between England and France brought incredible bloodshed, hardship and eventually peasant revolts. The Papal schism began (remember that Western Europe was completely Catholic) and people began to have doubts about the survival of the Church especially since the East-West Schism had only occurred a couple centuries before. And then, to cap it all off, the Black Death swept across Europe in the mid-14 century and wiped out a significant portion of the population, and it would continue to return with decreasing severity every couple of decades. In short, the Christian world had every reason to believe that this was the Apocalypse, nobody had ever witnessed devastation on this scale.
But it wasn't the end, these events marked the beginning of the end of feudalism and with it the emergence of the middle class. Within a century the Renaissance began and education became available to many more people. The foundations of modern capitalism were laid and with it came the first non-architectural technological advances since the days of the Roman Empire. In short, the world changed dramatically in a relatively short period of time (I say short because we have to realize that the average person in 14th century Europe lived EXACTLY THE SAME WAY that his ancestors had lived a thousand years before). Were all of the changes good? Probably not, but the point is that the world didn't end.
So, while it's possible that we are right now very close to End Times, it is also possible that we are sitting on the cusp of a major political and socio-economic shift (maybe even for the better), but I am certain that we will soon witness major changes.
