Illinois politics- CORRUPT!

Posted on 06/28/2011 9:49:33 PM PDT by Kevin in California

Was driving home from work tonight flipping the channels on my sat radio and heard something I did not know.

The particular DJ was talking about Blago and his latest conviction and what knd of prison time he was facing. He then went on to say that the last four Illinois Guvs have done prison time. I did not know that and was stunned when I heard it.

I've not researched that but is it true??

In this case it is zero/Holder/Emanual that are ticked off at Blago. Valerie Jarrett was supposed to get that seat.

Four out of the last eight, it appears. But think again about politics in general and looking to the states as saviors. IMO, we need new leadership at every level of government, business and academia. Our country is immoral and upside down. Maybe the default will present an opportunity.

“Four out of the last eight, it appears.”

Remember, though, those were just the ones that got caught! Like cockroaches scurrying for cover when the light switch gets flipped on in the middle of the night, only the slow stupid ones get squashed.

... Illinois Guvs have done prison time.

There is a joke about Illinois being the only state where their license plates are made by their governors.

Attention morons in the “media”. Illinois, the home of John Wayne Gacy and the sewer that gave us Barack Hussein Obama.

And, this is the political climate where Obama started, grew and emerged as a political force. He climbed the dirtiest machine faster than anyone. Any reason to look into his history? Nosireee! Tony Rezko? Quiet as a mouse. Blago? Now that he has a potential 300 year federal stint, think he will talk? hahahahahaha.

Excluding Blago, three Illinois governors have served prison time. Otto Kerner (D), Dan Walker (D), George Ryan (R) who is currently in prison, his wife just having died. But no, they weren’t consecutive governors.

May the worst of the worst cross paths with all politicians in prison including the POS Blago. Thanks in advance.
