Roger that! I wore one pair till it was a pieces of elastic around my waist and what looked like a loin cloth.

I could care less if the poor darlings had to wear the same pair the whole length of their sentence.

"Our troops in nearly every single war didn't have the luxury of changing their underwear twice a week."

Because underwear caused crotch rot, most of us didn't wear underwear in Vietnam.

The good news is you get new underwear today. The bad news is you will trade with the guy on your right.

“I thought you meant today!” Punch line from an old joke that’s probably being told and retold at that prison.

At home, they sit around in the same underwear for a week or so, waiting for the last high to wear off enough for them to go steal something to use to buy more drugs; so what’s the big deal wearing it for a few days in their cells?

It isn’t like they have to wear it to office all week or something.

Or does it offend Bubba that his ‘wife’ is less than fresh?

For about 90% it reminds them of life on the outside.

Give us a month, we’ll send a couple of bales of cotton.

TB, shhh, you’re not supposed to say that out loud.

I am surprised you DIDN’T find them doing that.

I of course did not do that. I only offer it up for inmates to solve a problem since they don’t have the ability to do wash whenever they want. :)
