We lodge ownership of the public roads in the government. No one is trying to take any liberties away from bikers ~ just keeping the mess down when they kill themselves.

I was *walking* beside a horse who spooked and slammed me down onto the blacktop.

I was in a coma for 11 days and the doctors “wrote me off”, assuming I’d die from the massive brain trauma.

I reckon I should have been wearing a helmet in my gramma’s yard.

Some people are still driving their old dependable paid for vehicles that don’t have all the fancy new safety jazz.

Then again, a local woman was driving her new Pontiac when she got clipped and went through the windshield, seat belt, airbag and all.

God knows the number of your days and you won’t make it 1 second past your time.

The date of your death may be written in stone, by why not take deliberate steps to ensure as best you can, to remain functional up until that time?

Life is a bitch when somebody has to change your diaper.

“No one is trying to take any liberties away from bikers ~ just keeping the mess down when they kill themselves.”

Again, you failed to grasp the original argument and chose way too detailed scatological arguments. Weird.

The argument posited is that public bureaucracies create a false need which then requires liberties to be limited in order for that false need to be fulfilled for the good of society.

It’s big picture stuff. It’s not about motorcycles, though in this case is manifested in helmet laws.

Stop playing with yourself and pay attention.

When did I ever say I didn’t conduct myself safely and responsibly?

That’s why they’re called “accidents”; you can’t * ever* plan for -everything- somebody stupid is going to do.

You cannot claim the right to liberty, without taking responsibility for the risks you want to undertake, and then have society assume responsibility for you, if it doesn’t turn out well for you.

That is a child’s viewpoint, to demand the right to pet the dog, but expect mommy to protect them when the dog snaps.

If you want to have the right to do what you want, you had better have the means to cover your sorry arse, because if you don’t thay means society is going to have to back you up and that means society has the right to demand you adhere to certain practices.

You never said you did conduct yourself in a safe and responsible manner, so I can’t assume you do.

But I can assume that, if you’re crying for liberty from societal obligations on something like wearing a motorcycle helmet, that there will be times when you want to ride a motor bike, without wearing a helmet, which means that you are choosing times to be stupid and you are also choosing time when you want society to pick up after you, if it doesn’t work out. You want to be free, but provided for, which is contrary to being a real Libertarian.

You can’t plan for everything, but you certainly can plan for consequences that are certainly foreseeable, like wearing a motorcycle helmet when you ride a motorbike, just in case some guy juts out of an alley and you can’t prevent a collision.

Yea, you can plan for that possibility.

For the record, I really hate it when people race to the intersection and stop at the last half-second.

You're the guy who brought up poop.

Your attempt to blame others for that is definitely shameful. It's one of those things you really shouldn't ask for in a thread like this.

No, the bureaucracies reaching and grasping story doesn't work here ~ these are public roads.

If they were private roads it'd be a different matter.

and I don't hang around with gays

You clearly agreed on another thread that all retired letter carriers were gay. Since you are a former letter delivery boy I call liar.

You are trolling for an exit from FR Fur Shur.

BTW, under American common law SILENCE DOES NOT IMPLY ASSENT. Ergo, your cheap attempt to introduce homosexuality into the discussion of defecation did not work at all.

The fact you would even think that silence equals agreement proves that you are a funny little foreign guy.

“You cannot claim the right to liberty, without taking responsibility for the risks you want to undertake, and then have society assume responsibility for you, if it doesn’t turn out well for you.”

I specifically advocated taking responsibility along with the liberty.

To underscore the point I stated - as federal “safety net” programs fail it will result in an increase in the opportunities to take responsibility inherent with the right to liberty.

“You’re the guy who brought up poop.”

No I’m the guy who brought up your consistently incoherent arguments. You spoke in great detail about defecation and excrement. Hey, to each his own. If they impose helmet laws, next they’ll take away your right (that you exercise so freely) to be obsessed with your favorite bodily function.

LOL!

You made it quite clear which way you swing on that thread.

If you don’t want to be called on it don’t post about it.

You union liberals don’t seem to understand that words have meaning. Seems like every thread I see you on you bring up faggotry and/or pooping.

Seems I am not the only one here who has noticed muawiyah's fixation.

Eaker, troll.

Why don't you go join your little friends with Clown Posse ~ if you can still find them.

You were tiresome then. You are as tiresome now.

And quit sending me those pictures of you nekkid.

Gad!

RF, you did so in your post #42.

Anyone can read it.

You attempted to introduce excertory functions in this thread AND hijack it to your own personal preference for discussion.

You just can’t help yourself can you?

You have a one track mind ‘lil fella and you need a professional.

By professional I mean a doctor not another trip to Boy’s Town.

Oh yeah. Then he blames other people. I’ve never seen someone speak so extemporaneously and in such great detail on things that he claims not to have said.

Friend, I did no such thing. I don’t even want to reference your disgusting post, though it would be a service to those who may otherwise stumble upon your “gifts” to the thread unintentionally.

To some liberty means freedom to travel unimpeded by rules made by busy-bodies. To others, such as yourself it means posting, fixating, and constantly bringing to the fore the things that normal people find disgusting.

I support your right to be free to do such things, but I don’t have to like it or participate in it. So please, take your filth to some other poster who cares - I’m not like you and will not discuss your fixation with you any further.
