I was to have been on QVC today to introduce my book, Prime Time, about aging and the life cycle. The network said they got a lot of calls yesterday criticizing me for my opposition to the Vietnam War and threatening to boycott the show if I was allowed to appear.
I am, to say the least, deeply disappointed that QVC caved to this kind of insane pressure by some well funded and organized political extremist groups. And that they did it without talking to me first. I have never shied away from talking about this as I have nothing to hide.
I could have pointed out that threats of boycotts are nothing new for me and have never prevented me from having best selling books and exercise DVDs, films, and a Broadway play. Most people dont buy into the far right lies. Many people have reached out to express how excited they were about my going onto QVC and hearing about my book.
Bottom line, this has gone on far too long, this spreading of lies about me! None of it is true. NONE OF IT! I love my country. I have never done anything to hurt my country or the men and women who have fought and continue to fight for us. I do not understand what the far right stands to gain by continuing with these myths.
In this case, they denied a lot of people the chance to hear about a book that can help make life better, easier and more fulfilling. I am deeply grateful for all of the support I have been getting since this happened, including from my Vietnam Veterans friends.
Was she talking about herself and her extremist liberal pals attacking and organizing boycotts of Sarah Palin?
Jane Fonda selling her book on QVC is like
Marx selling “Das Kapital”.
It always amazes me how socialists want to use the
very system they are in the process of destroying.

ROFL. Oh yes, I hope so too.
Let Ted Turner have her filthy remains.
Don’t have to...they’re SEARED into my memory.
Good on QVC..the broadcast studio is not too far from here, I should send them a note. :-)
Exactly!!!
She’s failed in love, life, principals and patriotism...
She has her face lift and money to keep her warm...
Just desserts...
See post #54...
Cheers...
Oh the comments on her site, the poor dear.
One notes she is selling tee shirts with her
mug shot and the black power salute.
I will never forget what she did.
I just told my 74 year old Vietnam Veteran husband about this, -— he was stuck in Laos, thanks to Kennedy -— and he said, “Go ahead and order something for Jordie (12 year granddaughter staying with us) from QVC, but tell them why you’re ordering: NO TO TRAITOR FONDA”
LOL.
ROFL. If I find time, I might add my comment...LOL.
I hate her to Hell and back.
Interesting picture.
At times the only thing our vets had going for them was their honor - a concept that Hanoi would never be able to comprehend. All she had was her physical attractiveness.
The vets never lost their honor, but her only “asset” is long gone, leaving only a pathetic, ugly shell. That, and the disgrace she brought onto herself, she will carry to her grave.
Yo! Jane!
How does it feel to have people [figuratively] spit on you? Not a lot of fun, is it? Now you know how a lot of ‘Nam vets felt back in the day. So screw you and the horse you [and Jean-Claude ‘Gen-ghissss Khan’ Kerry] rode in on.

Well said!
I don’t hate her, she is beneath my contempt,
like a bug.
"Power to QVC!"
