Urgent message to the Tea Party Freshmen and fiscal conservatives: HOLD THE LINE!

HOLD THE LINE!!

They'll have to come back to you. DEMAND a REAL CUT in spending!! Do not under any circumstance approve a debt ceiling increase!! Instead, insist on real spending cuts NOW!! The country is bankrupt. Do not allow them to take us deeper into debt! It's time for the HOUSE to do its job of controlling the spending!

The federal government is bankrupt due to Obama's reckless spending. Cut up his credit cards and force him to quit spending! It's time to put Obama and company into receivership! Make them come to the House to authorize current payments on the debts as they come due so that we don't default. Do not authorize any spending whatsoever on discretionary items until the spending crisis is solved. Pay the obligated social security checks, the military, the interest and the required debt payments, but that's just about it until our fiscal house is in order!

Make no bones about it. We sent you to Washington for one reason and one reason only and that is to take control of our big spending, big taxing problems and get our economy going again so our our people can get back to work!! Do not let the DC ruling class sway you. Do not take your eye off the ball. Do not fail to do your job! Our nation's survival depends upon your vote!!

Tell Boehner to get HIS ass in line!! Cut the damned spending, already!!

Reinforcements are coming in 2012!!

Rebellion is brewing!!

DON'T TREAD ON ME!!

You are what is commonly referred to as a "Banker's B!tch". You have absolutely no, nada, zero clue how our financial system works, do you? And yet, here you are on a widely read public forum spouting support, no, advocating that we press the foot to the accelerator even harder.

Do you know Wall St laughs at your ignorance? That Paulson made over $500m from his TARP gambit? Raise the ceiling, and flood the world with newly printed Benny FunBux, and stocks, prices, commodities, etc are off to the moon. Everyone "in the know" (um, that includes me) gets rich, except those poor suckers (aka middle class Americans) receiving (devalued) checks.

Posts like yours convince me there is no chance for this country - none. Just put a fork in it already.

Even some of our own Freepers are sounding like FOOLS today. God bless you, Jim, and the Congressmen who are standing firm. Bob

“HOLD THE LINE!! “ Amen!!

Yep. This nation is center-right, but because of Obomas MASSIVE spending spree, the safest route to go is farther right. Now is the time. Taxpayers across the country are hiding their money under their mattresses.
The democrats know they need lots of money to spend in order to stay in power. No money for new free handouts in 2012 - no reason for the democrat base to get out of bed to vote.

I am happy to see my Rep - Dennis Ross-FL is sticking to his guns.

I told him via twitter he has my support.

That all being said. I am getting confused and worried. Some of the scenarios being talked about how Reid's plan can come up, and because it is close to the Speakers plan, RINO's can join the Dems and Obama gets the credit.

How realistic is scenario like that?

Now if only we had ACORN, SEIU, and MoveOn to pay for our gasoline and bus tickets.

What's so thoroughly disheartening and disgusting is the number of supposedly conservative talk radio personalities BACKING BoneHead's plan and disparaging the TEA Party members' courage. I think there is a radical sifting going on in this, and we'll soon see who the true conservatives are.

Anyone from the D/FW area: JD Wells is NOT a conservative.

I’ve always found threatening someone I’m trying to win over to my point of view to be an effective tactic.

Leaves no room for misunderstanding doesn't it?!!

The rep can take it any way they choose to. If they choose to discount the message then it may well be their undoing at the ballot box. They best take the p.o.'d voter seriously, especially in this political environment today! Voters are not in the mood for niceties any more!

She has stated she is against it, but seem resigned to the fact that they were going to raise it. I also seem to remember that she also said when they cave they should get something for it.

“I’m not sure her position on the matter, but I would imagine...”

Yes, that is what I’m left with too sometimes regarding Sarah. It’s a simple, defining question really. I’m not saying which way she needs to answer. But I’d like to know it.

I realize some TEA-friendly candidates are going along with the piddly, schmiddly Boehner deal. But other TEA folk and at least one TEA prez candidate have taken a clear stand against it.

I just want to know if ‘Rogue’ is simply of description of campaign tactics or if it means tough and hard line. Would the Sarah of the re-cycled manifesto rate the Boehner bill as “deadly serious about cutting the deficit”?

“...still believes in contested primaries.”

Does she mean Obama or Boehner?

Cryptic. Again.

My congresswoman, Diane Black has already caved in and is siding with Boehner. I can’t wait to vote her out.

Amen Jim!!

Sadly, even our Representative (Rob Bishop R-UT) has caved on this B.S.! He’s usually a very reliable conservative. I called his office twice today to express my disappointment and anger at his decision to vote for this POS legislation put forth by that A$$hole Boner!

Hey John...this message is for you: You better not even think of threatning those members who refuse to vote for this pussified legislation. You are as much an enemy of this country as Obama is. WE’ll ensure you’re voted out in 2012. You think last Novemeber was huge...just wait!

In case no one answered you yet:

Sarah does not want ANY raise in the debt ceiling. Cut spending, live within our means.

She has written this and repeated it in interviews.

She did say that “congress keeps saying they are going to raise the debt limit. If they do they had better do it with the cut, cap&balance bill which at least starts the process and includes the BBA.” (I’m paraphrasing here from memory)

“Sarah stated that she would like to see the ceiling not raised.”

That’s good to hear.
