Was robo-polled by Rasmussen yesterday. Asked if I were a Tea Party "member" I said yes. Then the question was whether I was an Evangelical!!! So much misunderstanding of grassroots activism. The crux of the poll was whether Bachman could beat Perry or Romney in the primary. Although over 16 candidates were offered for one to choose from, PALIN was curiously omitted from the options!!!
Scared to death of Palin they are.
Her sincere belief in small-government is scaring them to death and the Eunuchs in the GOP will do anything to try and stop her.
Ed Rollins probably commissioned it for MB.
Rasmussen was pretty honest for a while. They were the only pollsters willing to report the full extent of Obama’s unpopularity. Then, a year or so ago, their figures began to bend. I think someone was leaning on them, and they finally caved.
Now they are just as much of a front for the liberal Establishment as every other pollster. Too bad.
Another irritation for me & my wife is the evangelical label. We believe in the inerrancy of the Bible and have accepted Jesus as our savior. There are a lot of folks out there claiming to be Christians or “evangelicals” but aren’t “really there”. We’re not afraid to be labeled as either but the labels have certainly been diluted.
Rasmussen is a shill for elitist Republicans. He is looking for ways to convince gullible GOP dolts that our best conservatives don’t have a chance, or that, in the case of Gov. Palin, she shouldn’t even been considered.
No misunderstanding.
This is part of a deliberate move to paint small government TEA Party people as wacko bible thumpers that want to install a theocracy and start a new Inquisition, getting rid of the blacks, Jews, gays and non Aryan races; pour coal dust into the air, dump arsenic in the water, and generally ruin the utopia that has been created by our socialist overloads.
overloads=overlords
More proof I need to read my posts and rely less on spell check.
Actually I think you were right the first time! I wake up everyday suffering from socialist overload.
The poll was probably commissioned by Bachmann’s team to see how she’s doing among evangelicals. Sorry, no conspiracy.
After it learned you were a TEA Party member, I'm surprised it didn't then ask "Are you a flake?" Oh well, I guess the survey wasn't designed by Chris Wallace.
