“Liberals are growing frustrated with President Obama’s soft response to the Tea Party after fractious negotiations over the debt limit led to the loss of nation’s AAA credit rating on Friday. “

Sorry, couldn’t get any farther than this. Negotiations led to the loss of the nation’s AAA rating. Aholes.

Well, it seems Obamajaad knew he was deep six into getting nothing passed at all because the Tea Party was having none of it. And he knows he lucky to get what he did.

Although I have no faith nor give any credit to the piece of fluff bill that allows $4.5 trillion more spending with a promise to cut future spending, which makes no sense at all to a sane person. Especially since your current spending is over $1 trillion more than your income.

The liberals sure are in a snit aren’t they. Wait until they get a load of 2012 and we send another 70-80 of their behinds to the unemployment line.

They ARE. They are insane. They are scared crapless by the idea of conservative media but they slurp up the liberal agenda.

They live in a bubble and not one made of common sense.

The same liberals who, if they could get their socialists elected, would be calling them “heroes” are demonizing the people who are standing on principle on the right.

And they are calling us “terrorists”.

If we really want to think about our nation. Our DIVERSE and special nation...we need to do things that people won’t like. Halt immigration. Curb foreign aid. Make other nations feel our pain.

Sad but true!

When a President is failing he usually goes to war to boost his #’s. He has already lost in Libya for the most part, funny how the media covers his ass with propaganda.

Scary as hell, China chasing our spy plane across international boarders. China needs the oil from the middle east, bad enough to fight for it.

Sorry I’m old school, 1+1=2. Long term our stupid government will get into a big war, to solve the problem. But the credit card is already maxed.

I moved out of Oregon a year ago because of this (the liberal minded drug culture didn’t help), back to the mid-west.

I really hope that I am wrong!

The downgrade is the result of the debt not the deal.

I tried to go to WA state back in the late 80’s.
I’m kinda glad that didn’t work out.
The Liberal drugtard culture was already entrenched.

I can see a retreat to the Midwest in my future.
Lord knows it’s due for a resurgence.

they have been reasonably successful at demonizing us- primarily because the average GOP in power refuses to grow a pair and stand up to point out the criticism...

so if the Tea Party had not stood its ground would the rating now be lower??? probably considering the Hill reported earlier today S&P's downgrade had more to do with the lack of cuts vs. a lack of revenue: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2759575/posts

Professor Baker I hate to inform you but the Tea Party had nothing to do with this depression. How about out of control government spending, raising our debt to the point of no return, expanding the ferderal payroll with unrealistic benefits and pension plans, job killing laws enacted by the Democrats, failure to explore more drilling for energy whild giving Brazil 3 billion dollars to do their own off shore drilling, just to name a few reason Professor dip sh*t!

That lead represents ten pounds of bias in a five-pound bag.

An objective and professional journalist would be ashamed of a complete misrepresentation like that.

But, in today's MSM, that gets a high five from the editor.

Cretins.

He said “Tea Party recession”? These people are absolute idiots. They’re blaming the Tea Party? The Tea Party candidates have only been in office for about 7 months. Prior to that Obama had overwhelming majorities in both houses of Congress. They had free reign for 2 solid years and jammed all of their liberal crap like Obamacare down our throats. But they blame the Tea Party for this mess that THEY created? Lying idiots!!

I watched the S&P guy on Cavuto twice today. He did say that the fact that we came within one day of not solving the current issue factored into their decision but the problem wouldn’t be a problem if Congress had agreed on cutting 4T of spending. He specifically mentioned the Ryan plan, the POTUS referring to 4T in one of his speeches, and I believe Boehner mentioning 4T. Of course, the cuts we eventually were pathetic.

In the end did the GOP just figure the rats were walking into a giant trap they brought on themselves - not to mention the rest of us?

Obama and the Democrats kept up the drum-beat that if we didn’t raise the debt ceiling by August 2nd, our rating would be lowered. And Boner and the house bought it.

Ohhhhh, so if they had just raised the debt ceiling without any other considerations (which is what Obama wanted), then everything would have been fine? Riiiiiiiiiiight. Making even a feeble, less than half-hearted attempt at fiscal sanity is the real problem! That’s really the line they are going to take on this. It would take a really stupid party to lose to them............................ so I am pretty concerned.
