When Bachmann hired Rollins she actually purchased the Huchster’s old Iowa network. Given that and the fact that she was in her back yard and was all over the TV, this isn’t quite as impressive as some want to believe.

Huntsman McCotter need to pack it up and go home, Paul needs to be excluded from future debates because he is just a distraction.

Amen, Brother.

I’ve been saying that for weeks.

Obama is not a viable candidate.

They are something of test of the candidates’ organizing skills and early strength. It tends to weed out some of the weakest candidates and attracts talent and support to some of the stronger candidates.

I’ll vote for any of those but I think Palin can beat him. She needs to jump in NOW. I’m afraid she is going to get in too late in the game and be another Fred Thompson. I don’t think Cain has a chance either, no way. I like him a lot but after the black one we have now, there is no way in hell another black will be elected for many, many years. Romney, I don’t think he can win either but I will hold my nose and vote for whoever wins because not voting is a vote for that slimy piece of whale sh&t usurping the WH now.

No, but Romney’s money and standing still make him a first tier candidate.

There’s a difference between saying it with a candidate who doesn’t support small government and saying it with Bachmann. I have some reservations about Bachmann but I would still support her if she got the GOP nod. No way in hell would I ever vote for a Romney, Pawlenty, or [shudder] Huntsman.

I doubt you’ll see many people here say the same about Ron Paul, which is a prime example of just how the Patrick1 Republican types work. First they talk about electability as if it were the end-all-be-all, and after electability is shown in polls and primaries by folks like Bachman or Paul, then the truth comes out. They won’t support constitutional conservatives, period—but conservatives are supposed to trot out to support their RINO buddies.

I haven’t noticed a whole lot of noise about the fact that the two biggest tea partiers were the #1 and #2 in this poll. I hope that is an indication of who will be driving in the primaries...but I doubt it, given where Perry is trying to milk votes and money. I see this being the corporate GOP/RNC hacks trying to drive the nail in the coffin for the early primaries having any relevancy in the process. They’ll make a lot of noise now about Bachman, then if Paul wins in NH, about him. But then, if Perry or some other RINO wins in SC, it’ll be all about how a ‘big state’ should be moved to first primary, since ‘they’re more representative of the current GOP.’

She may have already waited too long. She may have wanted to wait until October to jump in, but events are forcing her hand. Either she jumps, or she sits, and the decision’s coming soon.

Not true. The candidates do pay for the tickets and give them away, but the ticketholders then vote by secret ballot for whomever they choose. I got my free ticket from Candidate A and used it to vote for Candidate B.

“IMO...Cain is the real deal. Don’t know if he can pull himself up....but he needs to be there. Somehow.”

He’s been having trouble with fundraising. I guess we need to send him some cash. In addition we somehow need to raise his name awareness about the fact that he is the only one who is not afraid to tell the truth when the truth needs told.
