Same here, and I an mot a Bachmann enthusiast. “You tried and failed” was the best he could throw at her? In a time when the ‘leaders’ are undercutting little accommodationist kapos like Boehner and McConnell and their favored lackeys, trying at all stands out from the herd. That she tried repeatedly is a mark of honor.
Not relevant to their political strengths, but I also thought she could beat him up were she so inclined.
The perfect candidate:
Newt’s brain. Cain’s optimism. Romney’s appearance/good looks. Sarah’s survival skills. Bachman’s focus. Perry’s military & executive longevity as Texas gov. Santorum’s conservatism. Huntsman’s foreign policy experience.
With a stunning stage presence and speaking voice of Clint Eastwood.

RINO behavior. They have no enemies to the Left, only enemies on the Right, which tells a lot about their true colors.
Compare McCain's polite and conciliatory behavior towards Obama in 2008 with his later behavior towards his Republican Senate primary opponent in 2010.
And her response was just as machine...and for the most part untrue, or half true....he lost me with the attack, she lost me with her response...but facts don’t matter any more- just emotions and by golly she really told him off.
OH - and the self control of John Boehner.
Romney and perry ned to be next. Then it will be clear sailing to the oval by Bachman. Woo hoo

I love it. Problem is that no one in that combo has executive experience at a level that lends itself to running a nation.

POTUS - Bachmann
VP - Perry/Palin
State - McCotter
Secretary of Energy - Palin/Perry
Defense - Former Congressman Duncan Hunter
Secretary of the Treasury - Romney
Health and Human Services - Santorum
Commerce - Cain
And just to piss off a lot of establishment types, Wrong Paul to head the Fed.

Bachmann is the REAL thing. A Great American and an American Hero.
She would make a Great President.
I fell in love with her when I saw her take little Timmy Geithner apart in the Congressional Hearings before he was approved. She asked him WHERE in the Constitution he found the authority to do what he was proposing. He was speechless. Guess he never read it.
From that point on, when she distanced herself from the usual pact of GOP machine sycophants who were ready to rubber stamp him like Boner and his bunch, she showed she stood for something more than political parties and canned responses.
remember when in 2008 FReepers were going gaga for Mr. Good N’ Paw-Lenty? Him and McClintock... And Brownback AND Tancredo... Now the only label to identify themj are best said as RINOs.
