You need to retract your lie, I never called him a Conservative.

Once upon a time when he was still sane, Gore was ardently pro-life as well as relatively conservative on other issues.

Also, once upon a time, the South was populated with conservative Southern Democrats who held jobs, held family values, loved their country and served proudly.

My opinion is still that Gore had more in common with them then than he did with Hubert Humphrey or McGovern or Jerry Brown.

I suggest before you type you go do some research. Gore NEVER had a Conservative record. Whatever claim to being pro-life was quickly jettisoned (remember, Ted Kennedy AND Dennis Kucinich were pro-life until it no longer suited them, would you call them “formerly” Conservative ?). I was there for his entire tenure in office, both House and Senate and knew what a fraud he was. The sad part was so many in this state bought that both he and his liberal twin, Jim “Daff-uh-Zit” Sasser were “Southern Conservatives” for almost 2 decades before they finally saw him daily on the national stage and realize they’d been had.

Gore was ardently pro-life

Amazing, CA Conservative is telling us that Reagan was pro-choice in post 74, and you are telling us that Gore was "ardently" pro-life.

It is like dealing with the Romney supporters.

Gore was ardently pro-life as well as relatively conservative on other issues.

Clinton stated that he chose Gore due to his foreign policy experience, work with the environment, and commitment to his family.

Clinton's choice was criticized as unconventional because rather than picking a running mate who would diversify the ticket, Clinton chose a fellow Southerner who shared his political ideologies and who was nearly the same age as Clinton
