It’s great, but subtle for a bumper sticker. If I stick it to my bumper somebody will torch my car before they finish reading it :)

He is a narcissist and would not fare well with defeat... choosing his own destiny by not running will give him the perceived power he seeks. He may be advised not to run so that his legacy will be preserved. (Legacy in the sense of how the RATS view success).

If Obama did pull an LBJ and withdraw, Hillary (even though she is just as evil) would play the “responsible adult” compared to Obama. There is at least one issue in which she does compare favorably to Obama. Remember when she said Mexico is like Columbia 20 years ago, and Obama told her to shut up?

Posted to a comment up the thread the same. I do believe defeat would destroy him so if he perceives he cannot win he will back out.

Re the linked article's dancing around the crux of it all, let's get this straight, shall we ?

In spite of being a communist fraud and puppet buttboy with no verifiable background, experience, or qualifications,
Øbama moved into 1600 only by 'virtue' of being (half) black.

His handlers cynically assessed the political climate and cashed in on:

1) idiotic white guilt
2) rampant black racism
3) massive electoral fraud
4) a voting population, a large % of whom are functionally illiterate or emotionally retarded or both.

End of.

Not to worry about that possibility, my original comment on this thread was: #8

Um, if he were just a ‘regular’ narcissist I would agree.

But it seems he is a ‘malignant narcissist’, and they are a whole different creature.

Obama was the person urging Raila Odinga to destroy Christians in Kenya when he, Odinga, lost in the presidential race there.

Googel ‘malignant narcissism’ plus ‘Obama’. What you will find is shocking.

When this man’s false reality is shattered, he will become enraged. We are in for one Hell of a rough year in 2012.

Also, I remember that RUSH stole the votes away from Hillary by suggesting that we do the same thing Dems were doing to our candidates- vote for Obama vs. Hillary.

You remember...incorrectly. He was pushing for Hillary votes when it was becoming obvious The Won was going to beat The B***h, just to drag out their primaries. You have it about 180 degrees out of phase, IE backwards.

My father was worth millions of dollars more than once in his life. He took great risks, worked really hard and earned a lot of money. But, he sacrificed his wife and children in doing so.

I wish I had a nickel for every ungrateful kid I've ever met.

I wasn’t ungrateful for him during the last years of his life.

After he’d destroyed my mother, humiliated her before all of mankind and divorced her, I rebuilt a relationship with the man and worked very hard to be a good daughter to him. I showed him nothing but respect and honor. I believed it was important to forgive him and retain a relationship with him because he was a grandfather to my children.

I taught my children to respect him and love him. I never whispered a negative word to them about the truth of who he was and what he had done to their grandmother. They will never know.

I was a good daughter to him. I loved him the best that I knew how.

The thing he never learned was that his material wealth disappeared and I loved him anyway. He felt ashamed, but I didn’t care. I never wanted my father’s money.

I wanted his time.

You weren’t his daughter. You’ll never understand. You didn’t have to stand between those two parents in the aftermath of their terrible divorce that took years off of their lives. A mother who was long-suffering, who loved him passionately, no matter how mean, cruel, hard and selfish he was. And a father who was guilty of horrendous deceit and abuse in the marriage.

I don’t give a damn what you think.

As usual, the child knows more than some stranger poking his head in. I defer.

You should not give a crap what I think.

But I hear people every day speak of their fathers as I saw you do, and I knew them both. The child was, nine times out of ten, just pissed at the old man for some slight, never mind the effort dear old dad actually put in. They had been taught that no matter what the father did for them, it would never be enough.

I reiterate: I wish I had a nickel for ever ungrateful BRAT I’ve met in my life. Present company obviously excepted.

Thank you for listening to my words and then answering me as you did. I appreciate your ability to understand this child’s point of view.

After the divorce I thought I only had one father in this world and that time would move swiftly. We did have those few remaining years of contact where he could see my children and they could love each other. When he died two months ago, my heart was at peace, because he knew I loved him. He loved me, the best that he could.

It would be neat if he lost his mind and started campaigning against his past self.
