Leading Republican contender and prominent Christian candidate Rick Perry has been accused of hypocrisy after it was revealed that he invested thousands of dollars in the country's largest pornography distributor.
Just a week after he launched his presidential campaign, the Texas governor has come under fire for his investment in Movie Gallery, a company that rented pornographic movies.
In 1995, while serving as Texas' agriculture commissioner, financial disclosures reveal that Mr Perry bought between $5,000 and $10,000 worth of the company's stock.
The revelation is particularly embarrassing for the Republican candidate as the company was boycotted by the American Family Association, which hosted Mr Perry's high-profile prayer rally in Houston a week before he kicked off his campaign.
In potentially even more damaging allegations, Mr Perry is accused of signing into law bills that could have benefitted the pornography distributor.

We had a Movie Gallery... hardly a porn distributed. They had a little age restricted porn room in the back. It was just like Blockbuster with a porn section. Was Obama still snorting coke in 1995?

They do not get it! It has all ready reached the anybody but Obama stage for conservatives. I do not like Romney but if he is the GOP guy I will take him. Palin, Bachmann hell even Trump. ABO!

I briefly courted one of the daughters. Her father asked me why I had a picture of her on my desk at work where everyone could see it.
She later married somebody he liked better. Last I heard she isn’t happy.

It seems most people who support rick perry haven’t really reviewed at his views.
Odd to support somebody you really know nothing about.
Perry authored a bill giving in-state tuition to illegal immigrants and even said he would never take action against the children of illegal immigrants because he was too compassionate.
Did Mr. Perry personally buy the stock?
I left a comment on that site - what a stretch LARGEST Porn distributor? It was a chain just like Blockbuster - some with back rooms.
The American Family Association also boycotted: 7-Eleven, Abercrombie & Fitch, American Airlines, American Girl, Blockbuster Video, Burger King, Calvin Klein, Carl’s Jr., Clorox, Comcast, Crest, Ford, Hallmark Cards, Kmart, Kraft Foods, S. C. Johnson & Son, Movie Gallery, Microsoft, MTV, Mary Kay, NutriSystem, Old Navy, IKEA, Sears, Pampers, Procter & Gamble, Target, Tide, Walt Disney Company, and PepsiCo.
If you own stock in any of these companies - beware, if you call yourself a Christian you are a hypocrite.....

What’s next, he invests in Amazon and they write an article on how Amazon.com sells Playboy therefore Perry is a pornographer.

Funny I read about this in the AAS this morning.( usually 2 to 3 days behind) I’m surprised the Anti_Perrys didn’t pick up on it earlier.
